I've always thought that about Canelo. He has a carefully constructed image as a Mexican hero of the people, but when I've seen him and read about him in interviews I just get the feeling it's fake humility, which I really don't like.
He hasn't given any credit to GGG like you said, and I don't remember him giving much to Floyd either, who totally outclassed him.

And also he said Lara was running from him all night and making it a boring fight, but when he does it to GGG, it's now sophisticated boxing. Very hypocritical.

Except him & lara didn't fight at all the same way in any way shape or form,it takes an absolute novice to say that they did. Canelo outlanded ggg in power shots ffs & threw 200 less,he also stood on the ropes throughout the fight & counter combos ggg all night,if you can't compare compubox & realize what should've been obvious then

Except that canelo didn't do anything in any way shape or form that compares to how lara fought.
