Don't care whose fault it was, only who will make it happen in the future. This is too good of a division for the best not to fight the best. I do not think Kovalev can afford to not fight everyone. For his legacy, he needs it. Some for Stevenson if he gets by Jack. If he wants any kind of legacy, he needs to fight Kovalev and the other top dogs of this division as we see who wins what.

I don't care about the past. Tired of hearing about it.

The same Ward who was offered by Stevenson and team a lucrative two fight deal, first Adonis would come down to 168lbs and fight Ward in the US, and the rematch would be at 175lbs in Canada. This was just after both had beaten Dawson.

Ward rejected the deal.

Then Stevenson said he would fight the winner of Ward vs Kovalev vs Ward and then called out Ward after Ward/Kovalev 2, Ward had a bunch of excuses and tried to fight Stevenson's left over KO victim (Bellew) before uprubtly retiring.

Is that the Ward who's opinion you want to run with? Coz that guy has no credibility whatsoever when it comes to Stevenson.

The truth is, both Ward and Stevenson feared and swerved Stevenson, with good reason too.

They both know what's up.

I'm done caring about the promotional conflicts but all I know is that while Kovalev was rematching ward, Stevenson was rematching fonfara. That tells me all I need to know about who wants to fight the best and who doesn't.

I do think he's necessarily scared of the Krusher, just has no need to fight him because networks are giving this clown around $1mil everytime he fights any bum. As long as fighters are getting great paydays to fight bums, this will continue to happen, not just Stevenson, but the entire boxing world. I remember Showtime gave Danny Garcia 850k to fight salka. As a fighter, Who isn't going to take that offer!? They must refuse to pay over a certain amount, unless it's versus a top contender.

Man if these idiot promoters in the US don't work together to do a 175lb WBSS, I'll be p*ssed of. It's such an obvious thing to do:

Sad thing is I actually don't think it'll happen. We've already seen that Arum is not working with HBO so that may rule out Gvodzyk and the newly signed Beterbiev. Jack has said he wanted to face Kovalev, but will his promoter let him? We already know about Stevensons issues. So we're left with Kovalev and Bivol as the only 2 elite guys left, in other words the tournament would be pointless.

Agree. A 175 WBSS tournament could be the 2018-2019 version of this seasons 200 tournament. And honestly I think the only way you get Adonis fighting these other threatening guys is if there is WBSS money in play.
