Wilder agreed to fight Whyte. As long as it was put in writing that AJ would be next after he beat Whyte.

Eddie Hearn ducked that offer just like he's ducking Deontay's rematch clause.

How many fights did it take for Wilder to step it up? Go on, remind us of his stunning track record.
As far as I can see, Joshua makes multiples of Wilder's biggest purse, every time he fights and he's only 20-0 (20).
Wanna compare the two's opponents and earnings up to 20-0 (20)?
Wilder don't can't negotiate s**t, earns low for his supposed but fanciful status; meanwhile Joshua get paid big money, his promotional contract is up soon and he has every promoter watching and waiting.

Not really, he's in the driving seat of earning for and from Joshua. He's doing a far better job of it than Wilder.
Besides, he may lose Joshua soon enough so he needs to ensure the money rolls in. It's literally his job.

You’ll see fake negotiations with Wilder and they’ll fight Headvetkin instead and use money as the excuses.

Might not happen next, but i believe they will make it in the fall at the latest.

That's not looking out for his fighters that's doing a bob arum making a fighter look good when he actually aint that good. D.Wilder just might end Ortiz if Ortiz cant get to him.

Maybe Wilder got tired of being called a cherry picking champion. Good for Wilder for finally fighting a legit top 5 heavyweight for the very first time. Ortiz is a higher ranked heavyweight than Whyte.
