Remember dana just a month or so ago saying that he refuses to work with Arum or Oscar? Mikey signing would mean we are not getting mikey/linares or mikey/loma ect. Mikey should either stay independent and work with PBC or sign with a established promoter not newbie dana white who is coming to the game refusing to work with either of the 2 top promoters in boxing.

Mikey is a smart cat. I think he just likes to hang with these bigger baller mfers lately for the experience & to pick up on some traits of theirs & get to talking to them about sh^t. Mikey's one of these guys who's gonna have his best years AFTER boxing & not during boxing like 99.9% of the boxers we watch. I suspect Mikey will be like Foreman in that he'll be among the few famous boxers who made more money out of the ring then in it.

So nah I think when Dana said he was talking to a bunch of boxers in 2018 Mikey was making calls to get a meeting with Dana from there.

Now thats not to say they couldn't have agreed to something, but I think Mikey is one of these risk averse guys & he's wanting to get paid the most for the least risk & if UFC boxing looks anything like UFC mixed martial arts it won't be a risk averse situation cuz there is very aggressive matchmaking happening in the UFC.

I forgot dana also said he refuses to work with showtime.

UFC President Dana White has made one thing clear - he will never take part in another working relationship with Showtime. White's company came together with Showtime last year, to promote the anticipated pay-per-view fight, which took place last August at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, between former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather and UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

"The way that they handled that press release and what they did - I didn't trust them before and now I just despise those f***ing guys. The Showtime guys, I will never work with them again - ever."

So cross off fighters with haymon, arum and oscar if Mikey signs with dana. lol

People keep saying that Showtime thing like it matters. The boxing arm of the UFC is gonna be shown by whover the UFC's new TV deal gets picked up by.

And I wouldn't cross off Haymon cuz Dana & Haymon seem cool. And who the f#ck does like Arum or Oscar? Arum is still relevant cuz he's a genius at promoting not cuz anyone likes to do business with him or he likes to do business with others. And Oscar is in the game cuz he's smart enough to hire Schaefer & Gomez to run his company. If Oscar was in complete control of GBP they'd been out of business years ago.

Is RN even signing cats anymore? I haven't heard of anyone signing with RN in forever. I assume they are on fumes & wouldn't be surprised if they just randomly were out of the game any day now.

So showtime is just going to be OK with haymon taking fighters to the UFC branch? Showtime has a large investment in haymon. And what evidence do we have that haymon is cool with that crook who robs his fighters in the UFC? Isn't haymon thing about cutting out the greedy promoters so his fighters keep more money in they own pocket. Isn't that the opposite of what white has been about.

And what track record of success does white have in boxing? He has success in a totally different sport with no Ali act, where he controlled all the talent and paid them peanuts. At least arum and oscar, showtime are all en****** with proven success in this sport. I would hitch my wagon to any of those 3 long before that snake scumbag who made his investors rich off the backs of fighters who make a fraction of what boxers make.

Dana needs to buy the ibo, and turns it to a major world title.
