Mike Tyson is just telling the truth here.

Wilder has by far the weakest resume of any of the current champions.

He showed his lack of class numerous times, getting annihilated vs Wlad, I mean even Jennings did WAY better than this scrub vs Wlad, AJ/Fury beat him.

Even on PED's like Ostarine it was taking him 4 rounds to finally adjust to a fighter like Takam. No idea why this guy get so much hype.
to quote Tyson Fury, when Povetkin was brought up at a press conference,

Fury: "Povetkin? Is a complete pus sy. He's been ducking me since I was a fat teenager"

Wilder would be the clear favorite against Parker, which indicates that the anti-Wilder bias on this site may be playing a factor in why some of you would pick Parker. Very few experts would pick Parker in that fight. Parker has struggled against opposition Wilder would destroy.

Tyson is probably just considering who has more ability to last longer with Joshua , which would be Parker .

            OR

He's taking DESERVING pot shots at Wilder who discedited his own era (even though they were BETTER fighters than he fought ) . M. Tyson could really tear this fool up if he wanted too in the media and really drop him down NOTCHES .

Wilder just dont know when to STFU .

Go in on him Mike !

Cut the bullshit mate .. you are talking to someone with a brain in his head who actually follows the sport.

Wilder struggled against Duhaupus and Molina, neither of whom are as good as Parker's best wins.

Wilder's best win is Stiverne .. you think Parker wouldn't be a massive favourite to beat Stiverne easily?

These are excellent points but i would caution that Parkers accuracy against taller guys isnt great and he has the worst defense in the top 10.

I would reserve Judgement until we see how Wilder deals with a pressure fighter like Ortiz .

Im not so sure Parker defeats Wilder looking at the Hughie fight , he couldn't land ANYTHING .

Hughie showed much better defensive footwork against Parker than anything Wilder is capable of.

I would pick Parker to beat Wilder because I think he takes a better shot. Imo, the first person to catch Wilder clean beats him.

Ortiz is more of a counter puncher than a pressure fighter.

He's 100% correct happily bet heavy on Parker or AJ beating him.

So what excuse does Deontay Wilder have of getting demolished by a 6 foot 0 light heavyweight / cruiser weight? When Alexander Povetkin has been regularly facing super heavyweights but is still yet to ever be stopped?

The comparison is between Povetkin and Wilder and that's why I'm performing this comparison.

Deontay Wilder is still yet to prove he can beat a pressure fighter who specializes in bobbing and weaving and combination punching on the inside. The last time he fought an opponent of that type, it was against Evgeny Romanov and he was brutally stopped. So maybe he could face him again to prove he has improved since then. Otherwise, he isn't a match for Alexander Povetkin. It's easy work for Povetkin! Since Povetkin > Romanov!

And if Wilder can't beat Povetkin, he sure as hell can't beat Mike Tyson!

                      There are levels to this!
                      Well said.
Wilder is today's version of Primo Carnera. Povetkin destroys Wilder in three by using that same style of getting inside and technically destroying you. Povetkin is a gold medalist and experienced former champion with the best resume of all the Heavyweight today. Wilder is the great usa hope it Seems. Giving a certain demographic a hope.
