He may be number one in terms of skill and potential but he has to get a couple high profile scalps added to his ledger before he can be crowned p4p king. That said, he is certainly trending in the right direction.

I love the Dragonballs for the 'O's and the Super Saiyan Lomachenko. Don't like anime but everyone watched DBZ

He's number one on my list for sure. I'd rather watch him fight than any other current fighter and I do love to watch lots of current fighters.

Lomachenko has one good win against Rigondeaux and he was a much smaller, aging fighter. I don't know why people bring up Russell Jr when outside of Lomachenko he's treated as a joke. Walters had some credential but not P4P worthy.

I believe Lomachenko is the most talented fighter right now and he will be #1 but he isn't yet. I also don't know why anyone think it's beyond debate.

Who would you have at 1? Crawford?

I have Crawford at #1 but that's not even beyond debate. Their is no clear #1 at the moment. I would personally give th edge to Crawford for unifying 140.

Ok I got no problem with that as long as you can see it's not clear cut, can easily make a case for both.

He’s a great fighter but I don’t think he’s the clear p4p1. I think him, Crawford, Canelo, and GGG are clamoring for the top spot.

He made 2 of them look absolutely clueless and like they didnt belong in the ring with him, and all the other guys he fought except salido he pretty much stomped. He is only 11 fights in and is seeking the biggest challenges he can like jumping up and fighting linares, and its obvious he is the most skilled fighter in the sport.

Crawford is the only guy you can argue over him because he became undisputed at 140 and is also very skilled. But lomachenko still gets the nod because of resume and how he beats his opponents.

deal with it salty haters, loma is king of boxing
Lomachenko didn't look great against Rigondeax, didn't look great against Marriaga, and will likely now not look great in his next fight (if you don't open yourself up on Lomachenko's baits, he's yet to figure out a way to get his offense around that in an effective way).

You add that he's only had 11 fights, with three fights against good opponents, and you're jumping the gun.

Folks arguing Crawford as the default #1 do so simply because he's been in as many fights as he has and has yet to really look ordinary in any of them. The hang-up on him is that the resume is still pretty weak.
