I don't see Wilder having any problems with Ortiz. He'll fight him like he did Stiverne the first fight. He'll keep pumping The jab and look for opportunities to land something big. Wilder WILL use his long reach and jab when he has respect for his opponent. He looks like crap when he fights down to the level of his competition but he'll step up when needed. If it is a short night it will be at Ortiz's expense.

I dont think this fight goes past 8 rounds. Somebody is getting stopped, we all know Wilder is sloppy af with terrible technique and if Ortiz is in great shape and is still elite he can stop Wilder pretty quick with hard counters. But then again Wilder even though terrible technique has alot of power and a good 1 2 and if ortiz gets caught it can change the whole fight.


Im leaning towards Ortiz by stoppage though because he is just a superior boxer. I dont see Wilder outboxing him at all.

In any case, the truth hurts. Here are the facts; In January 2017, the WBA had wrote a letter of resolution to both Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua that the winner of their bout would have to face the mandatory challenger Luis Ortiz in 120 days of their championship bout or face a purse bid.

However, when Klitschko and Joshua agreed to a rematch in August of that year both the WBA and IBF gave their blessings and backed off their original mandates.

When Klitschko unexpectedly announced his retirement in the same month of the rematch, the WBA sent both Joshua and Ortiz a letter ordering both camps to make the fight in 30 days or face a purse bid.

I guess one of us will be wrong come fight night. Ortiz hasn't beaten anyone Wilder couldn't so if anything this is a pretty even fight. I guess I just have a little more faith in Wilder's boxing ability than some people do.

No you are the troll...IBF mandatory is in place even before Joshua won the WBA belt....BoxingScene.com has been advised that Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs) has been ordered by the International Boxing Federation (IBF) to make a mandatory defense against Kubrat Pulev of Bulgaria.
Joshua's mandatory defense was due on or before January 9, 2017. He was given an exception to face Wladimir Klitschko in April, with the vacant WBA, IBO titles at stake. Joshua defeated Klitschko by way of a eleven round stoppage.
The sanctioning body then pressed on Joshua to face Pulev, but the unified champion filed for another exception to fight Klitschko in a rematch in the fall. Klitschko had the contractual right to force an immediate rematch

More proof that you are a troll. Posting from a recent alt account dating back to Nov 2017. That's just three months ago with just under 11 posts. Post your proof. If what you are stating is true then the fact that he was given an exception by the IBF cancelled out their mandatory defense.
