It's a very interesting fight. It all depends whether Spence can take a punch from a huge puncher like Keith Thurman or not. If he can, then Keith could find himself in a lot of trouble against Errol.

For instance, Porter was able to withstand Thurman's punching power and made the fight very close if not controversial. However, he smothered a lot of his punches while fighting on the inside.

Now imagine what if a fighter who is more fundamentally sound than Shawn Porter, who can take One time's best shots and keep moving forward, while still walking him down and backing him up.

What's Porter going to do vs Spence JR ? Basically Spence is better in every single aspect and is physical superior in every aspect. Fight is a mismatch.

Spence needs to apply pressure on Porter. the fans do it but Spence himself needs to be more vocal. theres no excuse why Spence only fights 1-2 times per year as if he's already a superstar. he can easily take 4-5 fights per year to increase his profile. all these guys are delusional. Spence included. they look in the mirror and see Mayweather. its pathetic. I remember when Foreman made his return at age 41 and in one year took like 9 fights. quality of opponents doesn't matter as much when you're active. just keep your name out there. but these PBC fighters are all under the illusion they are on Mayweather's level.

I think that is just human nature. Porter lost a close fight to Thurman. If he says Spence is better than Thurman he is saying Spence would likely beat him. By saying Thurman is better than Spence he is saying that he would probably beat Spence.Spence just easily destroyed Peterson. The same Peterson that almost beat Garcia. The same Garcia who lost a close fight to Thurman. Spence is better than Thurman, Garcia or Porter in my opinion and that's why none of them want to fight Spence. They all saw what Spence did to Peterson and Brook and they want none of that.

Thurman is more accomplished but I don't necessarily agree he's better. I can't see Thurman blasting out Algieri the way Spence did. We saw how Thurman did against Bundu and how Spence did against Bundu. I also think Lamont Peterson would go the distance with Thurman.

That just doesn't work. Spence can call the top welterweights out all he wants but it changes nothing. Everybody knows all about Spence. The fans and his rivals know all about him. The top guys are either willing to fight him or they aren't willing to fight him. If they are willing to fight him then calling them out isn't needed. If they aren't willing to fight him calling them out loud and clear won't make them fight him. Spence has been calling out Thurman for years now and Thurman has no problem turning down a Spence fight.
