  • on a 1-5 scale...how good of an opponent is current ortiz?

    i need to know beforehand

i seem to remember when the fight got canceled the first time alot of lips moving about how wilder is scared cause ortiz is "live"

i need to know now that were about a week away from reality happening....how good of an opponent is ortiz

you are allowed half points to grade

i know that guys often like to call guys scared of a guy......and accuse that guy of wanting no parts of an opponent...until it gets really close and reality sets in

Got a first name? It’s a pretty common surname among boxers...

      I'd say 2.5 to 3.0

I thought he looked solid a few years ago but very flat and old the last few times I'd seen him.

I think people are wayyyyyyy overrating Ortiz BUT the thing is there are rankings that got Ortiz higher than Wilder as we speak.

And plenty of mfers are saying Ortiz wins. And however you cut it most cats consider Ortiz a top 5 guy. Anytime a non-#1 guy fights a top 5 guy I think you gotta give the guy solid props for his opponent selection so I'd say it has to be a 4 & probably should be a 4.5 or 5.

I fully expect Wilder to be not sh^t post this fight either way cuz he'll have lost to Ortiz or he'll have beaten a "bum" doe cuz you know how petty & ****** boxing fans are.

He's the best fighter than Deontay has fought. I'd say he's a 4 out of 5

3.5 to 4 if this was 2-3 years ago it would be higher. Either way this is wilders biggest test

Looking at the roster, 5. If we're talking on a broader scale, like past 10 or 15 years, maybe 4. He's the best opponent out there besides AJ so there should be no criticism. Plenty of these clowns will anyway though.

I'd say about 3.5. He looks older and slower with each fight. Still dangerous, but his best win was Malik Scott two years ago, a guy Wilder KO'd two years prior to that. I'd put Wilder at his prime right now, Ortiz will be 39 next month, at least that's what he's claiming. He's had a short pro career so not a lot of wear and tear on him, so I'd say he's still got plenty left in the tank and he would be a decent, if not the best win to date for Wilder.
