Biggest question is who would bother to make fights happen for him? Floyd, Haymon?

      You got that right.

Commentators hated on him with a legendary bias for a lot of his post-no mas fights.

Theres a saying "never let a lie get in the way of a great story"

Thats the reason biased fanbois/ boxing dumb f**ks like dan Raphael have ALWAYS written nonsense & lies to sell papers. That's why they were happy to go along with the false narrative done 4 show to sell tickets, when Ali used to claim Patterson/Frazier were uncle toms which couldn't be further from the truth.

But its the most ******ED level of ******ity for these fanbois that compare the atg Duran to Rigo who fights in a division full of part time cab drivers,& who only has 17 fights or some sh in his career,& who didn't even show up whatsoever vs loma,he LITERALLY only showed up to get paid,it was no different than Charlos last opponent the 1 legged gimp on crutches.

Rigos in his own league of bîtchmade quitters who truly are boring af to watch, chavez Jr has much more heart than he does...
        Very nice post!

        Yeah, undeserving? WTF?

          This.

No matter what age or weight, Loma beats Rigo.

I agree. Rigo didn’t get hit. Not solidly. He just didn’t have the guts to lay it out there. He quit with the weakest of reasons, afraid to be made to look bad. That’s just not what champions do. I was pretty upset about his performance as it happened, but I soon cooled down. Rigondeaux is gonna have to live with this. Not me.

Just like Kell Brook; He decided to shut it down once he realized he was over matched and in there with a much larger and stronger opponent with more natural ability than himself.

Rigo could have gotten himself seriously injured had he continued. Just like Brook he was only protecting his livelihood. He could have received a career/life ending injury; Resulting in death or life support had he fight on. Proving one can take an ass whooping doesn't make a man. It makes one a fool because they have no chance of winning.

Trust me, Rigo will live to fight another day for his quitting. After all, he was fighting someone way out of his league.

What if God forbid, he was mortally injured in that ring against the naturally younger, stronger and larger Loma who was at least two weight classes ahead of him? Then what?

Kell Brook had his Eye socket Broken...twice... so no its nothing like Kell Brook. Rigo just got his ego hurt because he was being embarrassed in there and decided to quit, he wasnt badly hurt like Brook. Not comparable at all man, the only one you could compare it to is Walters quitting.

And he was as small as Rigo before he packed on 40lbs of lard to fight Leonard

So a 27 yo SFW/LW ATG beats a 39 y/o SBM ATG and that somehow leads to that assertion???

Rigo knew he'd lost the FW shot at Loma and the 500k, so he took Bob's offer.

Best to get paid and lose than retire undefeated and gettin 50k for the rest of his career
