no, he cant go back to 140! i dont even think he can make that weight anymore.

he needs to start fighting guys he can beat (realistically). stop being a punching bag for these other top fighters looking for an easy tune up fight. he sets himself up for failure every time he takes these fights.

No way he can make 140, still plenty of fun options at 147.
Bam Bam vs Victor Ortiz? Sign me up!
Rios vs Josesito Lopez? I'm in
        Rios vs Mauricio Herrera? Sure
Rios vs Omar Figueroa or Adrien Broner? Let's do it!

I'm sure there are more potentially exciting fights that are slipping my mind right now as well

He’s great at providing the fight fans with some great wars but at this point in his career, every fight he takes is just risking his health. The guy sounds punch drunk; and the reality is no matter who he fights, he’s going to brawl with them. He can’t drop down in weight, he can’t go up in weight, and he can’t beat none of the top tier in the welterweight division. His career has been a very entertaining highlight reel, but I believe it’s done for him.

I agree, Rios needs a better manager/team to pick his fights, it was cool when he was overachieving and still was in it (prime i guess you can call it) to go after big fights and money fights but now as a semi shot fighter past prime hes gonna have to be very selective with the fights he gets and possible build himself up again to cashout with another semi big fight.

Although I like rios I feel bad over what happened this weekend, I notice a few members here had mental breakdowns and lost their **** over brandon rios losing and its sad.

Ever since Rios has campaigned at 147 I always thought he'd stop Ortiz and I still do but I think now he may struggle with his punches his resistance seems to have deteriorated.
