Garcia v. Rios isn't the "best v. the best." It's just two guys with a lot of fans. One guy is second tier in his new division, the other guy is burned out.

Fans want to see competitive matchups.

But I get it, you don’t want to have a conversation or understand. You just want ESPN or Top Rank to be right. And I can’t have a conversation with a man holding pom poms so carry on.
so at least we know I don’t talk to u yourself as u are probably the biggest Pom Pom waver on this site. How many viewers do you think watch ESPN Deportes instead of ESPN or hbo Latino instead of hbo? How many more viewers should we add ?

You need to have Showtime, you download the app then login with your TV provider information.

The app itself is free, but you need to be subscribed to Showtime. So it's not really free lol.

Of course. But the discussion was whether the COLLEGE FOOTBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP is a great representation of the percentage who do what you do. I contend that an event of that magnitude attracts so many casual viewers, that the percentage of legal streamers is smaller than the percentage would be for a different event. The other poster said only 5% legally streamed for that event. I believe we can logically conclude that the legal streaming number for Showtime Boxing would be higher than 5% then, due to the nature of each event and the type of viewers they'd attract.
so answer this. How many viewers should
We add to top ranks ESPN numbers? How many are watching on apps and ESPN Deportes. What do u think is a fair number? Should we double there numbers? Too high? Maybe 50% increase? Espn Deportes is way more popular viewing than any showtime app for sure.

I like what I am seeing from espn and showtime, hbo seems to be in a roster transition? I dont know why the Fox1 tuesday show has not been continued, that show had good luck with the matchmaking and entertainment value from prospects.

                I don't know the answer.

But I do know you're moving the goal posts.

                Nobody was criticizing ESPN's ratings.

I say fucc the networks fucc the promoters put these guys all one channel under one promoter like the NFL or the NBA !!!
you have a good post here! It's amazing to see the arguments and it even seems to get racial for some reason sometimes? I am aware of all the promotions but could care less, the more that televise shows the better...I have even started to watch the cards on Fightnite Live / Facebook...they are having 2 shows back to back on saturday.

no goal posts are being moved. And people were criticizing their ratings.

Also you never addressed HBO Latino ratings. That would beef up HBO’s numbers significantly. Showtime doesn’t have a Spanish channel to add more viewers.

And apples to apples, Deontay vs Stiverne’s mediocre numbers were way better than Garcia-rios or Spence-Peterson si no matter how u slice it, 2018 has started off weak for Showtime.

Unfortunate it was so low. It was a decent fight despite being a mismatch. Casual fan base would have loved it, lot of action and ended in a dramatic TKO. Too bad they missed it.
