Who really wants to see these fights?? These Haymon fighters fight once a year and then they need tuneups and marinating fights and then have unnecessary rematches. Keith Thurman seems like he is no more 100% invested into boxing, the hunger is gone, he is on cashout tour trying to keep his belts as long as possible vs the weakest competition. Danny Garcia after facing Rios will probably get another cherrypick ala Victor Ortiz who was gifted a draw for a reason. Shawn Porter will sit out another year and wait for Keith Thurman which is ridiculous. Spence will face some mandatory i never heard about. The Welterweight division is dead, thanks to Haymon.

      WBC padding the pockets..........

WBC knows fighting Garcia, Porter and then Spence if Thurman beats both again will get the sanctioning body the most loot. Plus Haymen has sway with the WBC. No need fans to get agitated this was always the setup, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Ridiculous for any organization to name 2 mandatories.

He has 2 belts so he can go the WBA route.
But Garcia vs Porter needs to happen NEXT so it's just one.

                Whatever

If the 147 division is stacked with great fighters. Why are we getting these recycle fights. Porter had his opportunity and clearly lost.. Who wants to see Head butting Porter aka Ricky Hatton fight Thurman again or Flat footed slow Garcia fight Thurman again? Wtf!!! These guys took one fight subpar competition after lost to Thurman and they are the mandatory.. WBC is a shame.

F.uck this organizations. Thurman has to fight Spence and Crawford to prove,he is the best at 147.

There are also: Matthysse, Ugas, Vargas, Khan/Brook..all good fights for Thurman.

in this scenario the most logical thing is for Porter to face Garcia. the winner faces Keith. but since that makes too much sense its not gonna happen.

I expect Porter to sit on his ass until Keith calls him and Danny more than likely faces Alexander.

and Keith's tune up I'm guessing will be Victor Ortiz. he admitted that was a possibility.

so how this plays out to me is Thurman/Porter fight end of 2018. then Thurman/Garcia first half of 2019.

if Thurman wins both (not a certainty) then he takes a tune up mid 2019 and if Spence is still at 147 they fight end of next year.

but like I said Keith can lose to both Porter and Danny since he barely beat them the first time.

Spence meanwhile needs to face Ugas. that mofo calling him out hard. make it happen in Dallas.
they are all waiting for spence not to be able to make WW limit and has to move up

Which first fight do you think was closer because I think it was Thurman vs Porter and therefore we don't really need to see Thurman vs Garcia II.
