Unifications trump mandatories. These are rematches and he is milking his elbow injury. We have been calling for Thurman-Spence for 2.5+ years now. Enough is enough. He has lost a lot of respect among his peers and he is losing fans because of his inactivity and his transformation into a businessman, the antithesis of what he built his name off of.

Your boy Floyd did it. What's wrong with Keith doing the same?

Thurman would have to vacate to face Spence as it currently stands. The alphabet orgs are the ones putting up these mandatories.

What Keith Thurman should do is tell the WBC to go to Hell; By vacating its title while holding onto his WBA title and then perhaps unify against Errol Spence, Jr. For the IBF title sometime early next year.

The reason why I say this is because he no longer has anything to prove at this point. I mean he's already defeated both Porter and Garcia.

If Porter and Garcia wants that trinket so badly, then by all means; Let the WBC sanction a championship bout between them in order to fight for its vacancy and determine their champion.

Keith is about to make some serious money. Sadly, this will prolong the Thurman vs Spence fight. Fight won't happen until late 2019

Thurman isn't recovering from crap. He had surgery a year ago. Six months to 100%. So what has he been doing? Thurman is like the McGregor of boxing, allowed to hold titles without ever defending them.

These cats are colluding, so they don't have to fight Spence and that may be the most pathetic thing I have ever seen in boxing.... Spence needs to ignore these clowns and try to make something work to fight Bud Crawford. A super annoying process, but it would be great if those two guys got in the ring and expose the cowards that these other 3 guys are...

bob won't allow Bud to face Errol....We will see Keith/Errol by late 2019 before Bud would be allowed to fight Errol & I wouldn't be surprised if Keith/Errol fight early 2020.

Most probable scenario is that Spence and Crawford will have a superfight in 2019, Porter will come out of top and beat Thurman in a rematch and defend against Garcia next year, whom I think he will also beat.

Meanwhile, Danny Garcia will fight Victor Ortiz next in a final tune-up.

Keith beats them both again.
