Imagine if GGG didn't fight a welterweight and fought someone in his own weight class or moved up a weight class and had a one off fight. Jesse Vargas v. Kell Brook was a unification. The winner was mandated by the IBF to fight Errol Spence. Spence would have the WBO & IBF. Crawford would've had to fight either Thurman or Spence for a belt when he moved up.

So sounds like Brooke put the monkey wrench into that by agreeing to fight Golovkin. He moved up for the money. Don't blame him.
