roy could win but i cant see him knocking out hagler, marvin never been down or even hurt, roy cant hurt hagler, his best bet is to dance, hagler was way past his prime when he fought leanord

i honestly think roy could win this if he stuck and moved the entire fight to stay away from haglers bulling, roy at 160 had some pretty nice pop so i think he would have enough power at least to get haglers attention

roy ud no knockdowns but a clear win

Some of you guys look into speed to well, totally ignoring will and determination. This is the most important aspect in professional boxing. In the amateurs is where all the guys with no heart and lazy training habits can win fights.

Hagler was the most determined fighter ever. Kept in shape all year round, could switch from ortho to southpaw had a mean right jab a nice left cross and a good left hook. Hagler storches him in 8 rounds.

Prime Roy Jones would brutally destroy Hagler. Way too fast, Way too strong.

i doubt rjj would brutally destroy hagler he always was a saftey first fight and hagler aint the type to stop throwing and go into a shell cause he got hit with a few punches

Hagler has never been in trouble. every fighter gets hurt, the knockdown was not a legit knockdown, if Hearns landed the same punch that he did on Hagler, he would've knocked out anyone else. He broke his hand with that punch.

Fact is Leonard was a much better boxer then Jones, fact is Leonard had a way better chin then Jones, fact is that was Haglers last fight & still many people though he won.

Jones would've never survived with Hagler, he would've been knocked out sooner or late.

I just can't get over the fact the just because RJJ lost 2 times at the end of his careeer people take away what he has has always been. I truly belive in his prime at 168 that he was one of the greatest ever. He had POWER and those lightning fast hands and his reflexs.

Now he's old, and with his reflexes down he cant get away with some of the stuff he normally could. He cant fall back on the techincals of boxing because he relied on his athleticsm. But please, dont take any credit of Roy's greatness.
