If Wilder wins, no matter how it ends, he will not get ANY credit....from his legion detractors!!!

Ortiz has definitely looked like he's lost a step in the last couple of years. He looked awful in his last fight.

BUT, he does have skills and Wilder leaves openings which have never really been tested by a power puncher.

I think Wilder's gonna jab Ortiz head off for the first 6 rounds and wait for his chance to land right hands as Ortiz tires and gets sloppy.

Exactly my thoughts... Ortiz can just outbox him and wait for the numerous technical flaws that will expose Jennifer... They WILL happen as all the previous Jennifer fights showed... That RGP right hand is real doe, but a superior boxer will see it coming from 200 miles and act accordingly... Wouldn't be surprised to see Jennifer flattening himself with a missed wind mill...

I still stand with Ortiz by late stoppage or MD ...

I think the Wilder who boxed Stiverne the first time is the Wilder we see against Ortiz. Go back and watch that fight- Wilder worked behind the jab and used his length and height advantages to land the combinations that nearly won him every round. At the time, this was a legit HW fight (seems like three lifetimes ago) and Wilder respected the power and ability of Stiverne. Wilder is not polished, disciplined, or super focused. But he is quick, powerful, completely fearless and truly unpredictable. Unpredictable in a bad way, sometimes, but he will change up what he is doing in a jiffy if he thinks he has an opening. If he comes in, works behind his jab, boxes tall, and keeps off the ropes he will win this going away. He can hurt Ortiz from a lot of angles and quickly. Ortiz is the prototypical boxer, the one you draw up in the movies. He keeps a good high guard, tries to cut the ring off and maneuver his opponent into a nice distance to receive some good hooks and that really dangerous straight right. But he has never been quick, is a tad predictable, has shown a lack of stamina, and his power is not explosive. He truly needs to set things up.

Several posters have said if the Ortiz who sent Jennings out shows up, Ortiz wins. I just don't think that Ortiz is here anymore. I am also not real sure the Wilder who boxed smart against Stiverne the first time exist either, but I am willing to bet on that Wilder making an appearance first.

If the Evil Windmill Boxer takes over Wilder's body because he is overconfident and he flays about, Ortiz will end his night in a flick of the off the switch. Otherwise, I got Wilder in a convincing UD victory or late round stoppage.

The only way he will lose is if someone is strong mentally and not have that fear. Unfortunately, AJ has displayed that fear of Wilder for a while already. Maybe there will be another Buster Douglas sometime in the next five years or so. Otherwise, haters gonna have to keep on hating.
hahahaha, dont compare windmill to tyson please u just sound dumb af. He explained his situation for the high blood pressure pills, he clearly was not doping and has been cleared so stfu with that. This man has fought NOTHING BUT BUMS his entire career and someone is suppose to be afraid of him? lmao 2-3 years back it was ORTIZ who was the most feared man in the division but he has gotten old and thats the only reason why wilder is fighting him. your boi windmill is trash seen him do the chicken dance against Haye WITH HEADGEAR ON! lmao he has a glass jaw and will get exposed if not against ortiz def against AJ.

It is going to be an interesting fight...and for all the Deontay Wilder doubters; he deserves due respect for calling out the most feared technical southpaw in boxing today.

Deontay Wilder certainly does talk; but we can be sure that he will back his talk with his improved boxing skills that has very much moved on from his first fight with Bermane Stiverne come March 3rd, 2018 against King Kong.

Wilder better watch them looping punches. Ortiz will catch him with that left down the pipe.
