here.. much of this is so ridiculous i thought i'd number for easy access :

If you look at his resume despite his 50 wins 2. the guys he has faced are basically namless nobodies, this includes his 3 losses (Vargas is, was and will always be overrated,JCV was good for like a second and well Simon could have been a major force but ....)! It seems to me that the TRINIDAD fight left this impression that he was a GREAT FIGHTER, and even with that TRINIDAD had already gotten his block knocked-off and came back to fight Wright after fighting two defensivless BUMS!

I mean Wright has a great defense, YES and can beat up on guys smaller then him YES, but what has he really done other then beating GUYS naturally smaller then him to be #3 or higher on P4P list?

The fact is this SAT he will be exposed for the SUB_PAR fighter he is and i wouldnt be surprised if after the fight, he drains himself and goes back to the roll of bullying little people!

I mean it was evident in the Soliman fight that he will have major trouble fighting at MW with guys his size and his strength, and even in that fight he was the bigger man(he was 171 Sam was 158), what do you think his gonna do when he comes in at say 170-174 and Taylor comes in a little bigger then that?

I just cant wait to see him exposed and played_out as a guy who can only beat little people, and after SAT he should be earased from any top 10 rankings, unless he does convert down to a lower weight and back to beating little people up, then and only then could he be put back on a P4P list! (I mean you dont hear JT's name being mentioned as fighting say a PBF haha well Wrights naturally 170+ ass is being mentioned as fighting him and that doesn make any ****ing sense, HIS A LITTLE PEOPLE BEATER, PEOPLE, NOTHING ELSE) HE GETS HIS ASS KOed ON SAT

      Alright, your ignorance floors me...

      1. Before the first Mosley fight, he was a HEAVY underdog, you make it seem like his beating Mosley was academic. Same goes with Felix Trinidad, he was, again, the underdog, and not only beat him, he dominated him "skillfully" for an entire 12 rounds.

      2. So since their not in the US, their "nobodies"? These were some of the more highly ranked overseas fighters available and he was cleaning house.

And to your the overall topic (or plea), it would be one thing to make the case that Wright only fights those smaller if he was knocking them out.. this isn't the case.. have you ever watched a Winky Wright fight? He doesn't win by being "bigger" than his opponents, he OUT-BOXES them, regardless of size.. and does it better than ANYONE in boxing right now, which is why he's in good standings on ANY knowledgable boxing fans P4P top ten list.

The reason you made this thread is obvious in that Wright gets a bit more attention that Taylor.. the reason is that whenever Winky Wright has had "big" fights against the big names... he's stepped up and made an impression in them, Taylor has not. Taylor won two close fought decision wins against Bernard Hopkins, granted he gets credit, he just didn't do it to the point where people can say, "He's the real deal." and has left MUCH room for deliberation after both.

Saturday night is Wright's time, he's gonna outbox Taylor and take his rightful place as #1 Middleweight, PERIOD.

Your GARBAGE post is pure hate, nothing more.... thread over

Tito just knocked out Mayorga, many people picked Tito to knock Winky out, Winky won every single round against Tito, he also is the first man to beat Vargas, but he was robbed big time against Vargas. He also beat Mosley twice, he deserves to be in the top 5, not top 3. I have him #4 in my list, Taylor #3, Pac #2 & PBF #1. The winner of Taylor/Wright should be #2 P4P boxer in the world.

Hands down Winky is top 3 p4p. I think he edged out Vargas in that fight, Mosely he beat and at times toyed with him and taunted him, Tito he just jabbed to death and made Tito look like he was garbage. By beating a guy like Tito that will sky rocket you to the top, lets face it before B-hop fought Tito people werent really giving B-hop his props, same with Winky. Winky will beat Taylor for sure I dont see how Taylor can beat Winky.

The Hopkins fights were WAY too close and he didn't win them convincingly, I think he psyched himself out but that remains to be known. Taylor has still yet to attain my respect until I see him clearly defeat a highly skilled fighter. If he defeats Wright then I will completely respect him and place him in my ranking, until then he remains a good fighter, but not great. Same as Miguel Cotto.

right B_hop was by far the best boxer in boxing and you werent suppose to beat him convingcingly if you beat him becuz he hadnt been beat in 12 years, so who ever it was to beat him wasnt gonna KO him but do just enough to take overwhere he left off and thats what Taylor did, he will be the knew bB_hop of the next decade plain and simple, the bext boxer in his respective division

                1. he was a heavy underdog becuz before that he had fought BASICALLY nobodies except say 3 name worthy guys and he lost to them,Shane on the other hand was a strong welterweight and even with 2 losses to VERNON, the man, but had only fought at LMW 2 times prior once to a like himslef blown up ODLH and a overhyped Raul Marquez 2. Of course he was the underdog to TRINIDAD, TITO was a beast pre_HOPKINS and the impression he left with the two fights he fought before WINKY were that he still had something left(Mayorga and a no-name whos defenses are non-existent).... Not to mention both where naturally smaller fighters then Wright

                3. Big overseas are you kidding, honestly if your not big in AMERICA your not big, and on top of that how BIG are those guys overseas now? hahaha

4.Ok he outboxes smaller guys same difference, and that addes to my cause he has no power, and that will not help him come this SAT

                5. He does it better then anyone else, do you think he will outbox Taylor (NO) and if he does (long shot in hell) do you think he can outbox Calzaghe becuz i would say his the best PURE BOXER in the sport!

                6. Ive heard that **** enough, of course he didnt DOMINATE Hopkins who has who would and well my mans retired but who will, Hopkins was the P4P best and you dont beat a P4P dominatley you do it closely and thats exactly what happen, if you think Hopkins was that good, the fact is Taylor is a notch above that!

haha i dont hate i deliberate and the fact is YES winky has skills to beat guy LightMW and below not MW and above ( i mean there are some guys he would beat but not many and that many is referring to anyone in the top 5 below him unfortunatly)

We'll see what happens in the Taylor fight...If Wink wins, he deserves all credit given...If Taylor wins, then you dont have to worry about Wright in the P4P rankings...
it depends on how close the fight is. if taylor destroys winky then this is probably true.

but if winky loses in controversial fashion, then he'll probably just be lowered 1 or 2 ranks.

And winky is an amazing fighter. he has proved himself on so many occasions, most notibly the wins over mosely. But the trinidad win was also pretty sweet. And stop saying a fighter is gonna get EXPOSED or something, especially whne they have 30+ wins. i hate it when people say that, especially with great fighters like winky

if winky gets KOed, ill go to where u live and let u kill me! thats how sure i am that winky will get KOed. He wont even get embarrased. i think this fight is gonna be rather exciting and extremely competetive. but in no way is either fighter gonna get embarrassed.

Both Winky and Jermain are gonna prove that they belong on the top 10 P4P list on saturday!
