I don't remember what fight it was, but I was watching a fight and the trainer said to cut off the ring, and the fighter asked "how" and I just thought "oh christ, you're dead in the water"

Great point better example then I used.Really that's I perfect one. What a waste of breath and likely to get your fighter KOed trying to think about it.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure the guy was picking up his mouthguard the next round.

            Nice insight.

Corner work wise I like Adam Booth just because it is very methodical.

            How do you feel?
            A sentence of advice.

Makes sense regarding the relationship thing. Probably why we get a lot of Dads in corners.

Your Virgil Hunters and Atlas's I can't really fathom how they can be that helpful. Other than Virgil to Ward for the reasons you explained. In that they have shared experiences and Virgil Hunter is a father figure.

Having no real coach could be the final nail in Eubank's coffin.

It's easy to strut around the ring and jut your chin out against bum opposition but when you are losing rounds with no strategy to fall back on...you just compound the mistakes you have already made.

I feel sorry for that Ronnie Davies guy, the Eubank's treat him like a family dog. At his age he deserves better, especially after he took Eubank Snr under his wing when nobody else would back in the 1980's.

Cannot wait for this fight. Going to be brilliant. Jr has those mad cardio skills though. If he's got his dads chin then I can't see Groves living with Jrs engine and he'll win over 12 rounds
