Arum added that he thinks he is close to finalizing a deal for Pacquiao (59-7-2, 38 KOs) to battle Alvarado (38-4, 26 KOs) on April 14.

"I see he has talked about fighting Matthysse,” Arum said, “but that’s not gonna happen.

lolll .. seeing a living legend like Pacquiao get treated like a first class bum is hilarious and tragic at the same time.

"I want to pight Matthysse" , says Pac.

"sit yo ass down somewhere" replies Arum.

Crawford is making much more than any Pbc fighter not named Mayweather and is one of the highest paid boxers in the sport http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...-suit-top-rank

So quit spewing all these fallacies when you obviously dont know what your talking about

Indongo is the only fight on espn. Hbo paid all the other purses. And yes, they paid him $2 million for one fight. You don't see them doing it again do you? Arum is running out of tricks. He kept pressuring hbo and they kept telling him they will pay for competitive fights, so Arum put on Crawford-Postol on ppv, and lost money on the deal. Then Arum jumps ship to espn and gets the first fight. Now he is dragging what is left of Manny back to be able to pay Bud for this fight.

Also, think about how much Horn is going to make. Horn beat Manny and is the champ. As the champ, I believe if it went to purse bid Horn would get 75% of the purse. I doubt he is getting more than Bud, but it has to be enough, for Horn to agree. Which will sure be a heck of a lot more than whatever Indongo got.

Crawford produces a tough job for Arum. As good as he is, he deserves the paydays that come with it. The problem is espn isn't going to pay him millions for regular espn and he isn't close to being a draw where Arum doesn't lose money for ppv.

It seems Arum is clearly using Pac. Pac will allow Bud to get paid for Horn, and Pac will help boost either Crawford or Loma's name recognition when he loses to whichever one Arum decides to throw him to.

Bud is the same as Ward. Both are/were #1 p4p, both almost always fought in his hometown, both cannot sell ppvs, but as a top p4p fighter less a million or less per fight is not close to what either one deserves.

ward and crawford both had promoter problems too. crawford is running out of good top rank guys to fight. Most of the top welters are owned by Haymond

Pacquiao's cherrypicking a$$ has just as much say as any fighter of his status. If this fight goes on it will be because he wanted it to go on.

In a sport event the parking is so large that you park, mostly a truck and there will be drinks, food, music, the game itself, etc. Some people have such an elaborated set up that they don't even go into the stadium and watch the game.
