i dont care if the wbc ordered a canelo rematch and charlo isnt his mando.....the talk from sanchez speaks volumes...they arent interested and thats what you can hear from sanchez.....hes dismissive as saying charlo hasnt done enough to deserve a shot... what hes saying(and you know damn well what hes saying) is that charlo is too dangerous with no reward and that hes not even on their radar....
He has every right to be dismissive. Charlo brings nothing to the table in terms of money, fans, profile, resume .. nothing.

And yes, you could say the same thing about Wade ... but Golovkin was ordered to fight Wade or lose his belt, that's the only reason why GGG fans, including me, defended GGG for fighting him. Nobody pretended that Wade was anything other than a nuisance that needed to be gotten out of the way.

To say that GGG, or his fans, or Abel Sanchez, are running scared of a guy whose best win is a hard fought points decision over Austin Trout at 154 is nuts.

man for man there isnt a ton of difference, if much at all, in resumes of charlo and spence
trout has never been rated as mw.. that is irrelevant, as a mw charlo hasnt done nearly as much as spence has as ww... charlo can make a claim at 154, but at mw he has long ways to go before i consider him the boogeyman of the division ..

the difference is charlo is 4 years younger than golovkin would have been at that point right?

i think we all know golovkins "unify" stuff was a built in excuse to duck ward and chase money.....if he werent he wouldnt have let cotto and canelo play around with the belt.....he would have fought BJS without listening to oscar..or hed be fighting BJS now........we all know his "dream" is a crock ...its obvious....hes no different....hes been chasing a smaller guy that brings a bunch of money

i think even those who "prop" up charlo are still realistic about who he is at this point.....hes basically in that land between prospect and world champ/top level .....his resume is thin.....but he isnt 31-33 years old like most of the other EE guys .....hes still 27 and if they push him right over the next 3 years he will be in the same spot as those guys

when golovkin was desperate for a big a fight a 27 year old kid gave him his shot......his big money and all that....maybe one day golovkin will return the favor to an up and comer?
In 2013 GGG had been a pro for 7 years and was 30. Charlo has been in the game for 10 years and is a couple months shy of 28. GGG also came from obscurity and from a country it didn't look like he could turn pro. He was an outsider with limited to no connections. Charlo has one of the most powerful advisors. One who's capable of cherry picking and making a 4 division champ out of a mediocre fighter like Broner.

I don't think GGG had much choice of not letting Cotto and Canelo **** around with the belt. He would have been dumb to fight Saunders in June when Oscar said if you do there's no fight especially since he was going to make $30-40m maybe more off Canelo the biggest name in the sport arguably. It's clear he's at Canelo's mercy so you have to give certain concessions when your guaranteed those figures especially in a sport where if your lucky you'll make $1-2m as a great champion.

If Canelo was black he'd have had the same card as Adelaide Byrd.

I'm countering Able's argument and that wasnt Able's argument. He dismissed Charlo saying mandatories dont mean they should get a shot.

The WBC have not ordered GGG to fight Charlo. They have ordered him to rematch Canelo Alvarez next.

                  Spot the difference?
I dont disagree but I'm talking about Abel's contradictions. Able wasnt discussing rules and regulations, he was called on for a contradictory statement and the sht flew back in his face.

If Charlo gets past Centeno, it will be his second biggest victory.

Not a duck Jacobs has done more.
Charlo should fight the loser of GGG vs Canelo.
Then if he wins get the next shot.
Charlo is still young no rush
