DBN should be banned. I don't know if there's any other pro race/anti other race out there than that. I have a friend who's a casual boxing fan but hates white fighters and he watches that channel and regurgitates everything on it.

The timing seems fitting to me just as more and more europeans have got a bigger footing in the game a lot more insecurity as came out. If Charlo's name was Charlosenko with that resume he'd be torn apart on that channel and this board.
im a white male...and ive never followed or watched dontaes boxing whatever....only heard the name....butttt

im an age guy and not a "years as a pro" guy

most of the EE guys save for two of them are older and still just about to hit stride....usyk is 30-31...gvozdyk is 30-31...beterbiev is 33......

loma is one of the guys thats 29 and already fighting some real good guys....but as youve seen....you could poke a few holes in some of the guys if you look harder.........now gassiev is still a pup and is on another level as far as im concerned.....hes surpassed them all to me at this point

but with charlo...i think hes about right where most normal US guys would be at this point......another factor is you have to remember the excuse golovkin fans used to make...about guys fighting him.....i mean im sure he would have liked to fight some of the guys at 154 but its not always easy to make fights....heck his brother couldnt get andrade......i wouldnt doubt charlo would fight golovkin next week if he could......but you know that golovkin is at a different juncture in his career where it makes little sense and i know that......but you cant just hold a guy down because he cant get big fights right? i mean thats what we were fed by golovkins fans no?

like i said...i think charlo is just about right where most good US prospects are at his age......but i hope they really push him hard the next couple of years and dont waste it....he should be fighting 3x this year.....but his resume is really no worse than spences at this point.....and everyone loves spence and wants to see him against the top guys at 147

when you really look at charlos resume vs spences....theres not much difference....depending on how well you rate brook....when i look at both resumes i dont see much difference.....yet everyone wants spence vs thurman or spence vs crawford.....and they love spence

The WBC have not ordered GGG to fight Charlo. They have ordered him to rematch Canelo Alvarez next.

        Spot the difference?
you are missing the point...as usual

the point isnt that golovkin should be fighting charlo next....the point is when charlo is mentioned abel seems disinterested.....hes dismissive of charlo as an opponent even though hes a #1 ranked by the WBC

        • No disrespect to the SuperF@gs in this here forum but Jermall Went 4 rounds with a cripple in his last fight so explain to me wo has he beaten at 160? Dude only had 1 fight! Saying that GGG is ducking Charlo is like saying Errol Spence is ducking Crawford. Come on bruh! How is he more of a preference then unifying with BJ Saunders????? SMH

Fighters come good at different ages for different reasons it is what it is. I think measure their qualities once they get into world championship level is the way to go. Of course that's not foolproof either but neither is judging strictly on age.

Their boxing culture is to stay amateur longer for multiple reasons (prestige and being Olympic champion in those countries is perhaps bigger than world champion for one) and it's a relatively new thing them turning pro even. I think one other way of looking at it perhaps is that they stay amateurs so long it's harder for them to get a "pro style" but they still go for titles quicker than the rest of the world. I appreciate that they have their reasons of staying pro longer and then don't waste too much time once they are pro's.

I just find it ironic that a lot of the same people who blasted and still blast GGG's resume and his decisions (i.e to unify the division, to fight the biggest name in the sport again) are propping up a guy like Charlo who outside of a close win over the smaller, shopworn Austin Trout has done what? I mean his resume is thinner than GGG's was even back in 2013.

I'm not missing the point at all. I'm calling you out for saying that GGG fans defended him for fighting "scrub mandos" - aka Dominic Wade - and comparing that to the situation with Charlo.

Charlo isn't GGG's mando and the fight hasn't been ordered by any sanctioning organization. You are making a false comparison based on either ignorance or bias then criticising GGG fans because of it.

Maybe because he has other plans.

Do we really think GGG (and his team) who is 350 fights as an amateur and 38 fights as a pro afraid to fight Jermall CHarlo?????

It does make more sense for GGG to fight ALvarez, BJS, Jacobs at 160, Ramirez, Euban vs Groves winner at 168.

Hell, Andrade does more for his legacy.

I understand Charlo wants that GGG vs Nelo payday.

But he should fight Andrade who has been chasing his a$$. Would dontae ****** nation press Charlo trainer to fight Andrade, i don't think so.

Yeah but Charlo resume is at 154, you should compare CHarlo to Crawford at 147.

Charlo hasn't yet made some noise at 160, except beating Heiland on a bum leg.
