I think GGG's problem is he's not an "eye catching punches" fighter and his defense is mainly about blocking punches. That's what made his dominance over Canelo and Jacobs not clear to a lot of people.

-Despite Nelo landing the best "highlights" punches in the fight, GGG overall did more damage, outlanded his opponent IMHO.

-I think he clearly beat Jacobs.
Jacobs didn't land a lot of significant punches if you ask me.I disagree with people saying Jacobs did better than Nelo.

Nelo put more damage on GGG than Danny did, and Nelo's defense was on point (didn't got dropped).

Yet the decision is being contested by many fans. I think once again, people are giving too much credit to flashy fighters.
Jacobs landed punches mainly on GGG's arms and gloves while GGG methodically beat him down with his Jab and middle range work.
I think this is the issue..how do you dominate fights getting hit flush over and over again?

He lost three rounds then beat Ginger's a$$.

Ginger will have GGG on his a$$ from the opening bell next time, lol, he better be in beast mode and fix those stamina issues.
      when did this happen??

      GGG after the fight

      Canelo after the fight

Nah, I rather saw it was a Draw because that’s what it really was.
Canello could not force Golovkin.to the ropes and rarely made him.back up. Canello was the guy who went to the ropes. I guarantee you if he wasn't getting intimidated in the center of the ring he would have stayed there and used his hand speed to outpoint G. He didn't. He got pushed back by a simple jab. He got schooled by Golovkin.

it sounds like a rocky fight just standing there taking punches over and over again! cept when i watch it all i see is ggg dominating them with his ram rod jab and they occasionally get in a good shot maybe every minute or 2. OVER AND OVER! the only thing that was happening over and over was them getting power jabbed. this was no floyd-pac tickle jab(the thing you pretended floyd dominated manny with) more mental gymnastics? did you win the gold yet? or is that the summer Olympics?

I guarantee you it was 100% Canelo's plan to take the middle rounds off and lead Golovkin to the ropes, just like Lara did to Angulo. He just didn't expect Golovkin to have that much stamina.

And lol at schooling, Golovkin looked absolutely awful that night, Canelo lost by not fighting. How is outlanding on jabs only, half of which were taps, while getting outlanded on power shots while throwing 70 more a schooling? How is losing 5 rounds out of 7 a schooling against a smaller, less powerful boxer?

You don't, but getting hit in the gloves isn't getting hit flush and that was my point if you really read instead of just coming downplaying GGG.

I'm sure you had GGG losing those fights.

                    That's expected Larry.
