wasnt there a guy by the name i think ..i think...umm Wilfredo Benitez...from p.r.....and wasnt he the best pr fighter there was or i am i wrong..what weight was he cuz i have herd people say he was better then tito...?

Though i am not Puerto Rican, i'll chime in. Deciding who was the greatest Puerto Rican fighter of all-time is a very arduous task. Despite the island's small size, the number of great fighters it produced is amazing. The absolute cream of the crop are... (in alphabetical order)

Wilfred Benitez
Esteban DeJesus
Wilfredo Gomez
Carlos Ortiz
Felix Trinidad

Regarding Wilfred Benitez. Not only was he the most naturally talented fighter of the bunch, but possibly of all-time. He made everything in the ring seem easy and intuitive. An incredibly pure boxer and his defensive skills were second to none, which led to him beating Antonio Cervantes to become the youngest champion ever at the age of 17. Some notable wins: W15 Antonio Cervantes, W15 Carlos Palomino, W15 Roberto Duran.

You can make up your own mind on who is the greatest puerto rican fighter of all-time, cause it's too hard of a choice for me.

Pull Tito's **** outta your mouth and realize he will only look good against morons who stand there and ask him to punch them in the head. Against high level boxers like wright and Hopkins, he will be outclassed and probably even ko'd again in the latter rounds. That's if daddy doesn't save him first.
