I've been at two Trinidad fights....& excitement is a weak word to use to describe it all.

everytime i see a tito fight people start going crazy if tito land one good shoot cuz most people in arena are puerto rican...in the hopkins/tito fight people went crazy if tito hit him once..but that dont mean he's creating excitment..at lower weight he did hell yeah..but when he moved onto to upper weight has has not

What? Trinidad doesn't create excitement? It was all Mayorga? Now that is bull****. Both of these warriors made the excitement last saturday. It usually takes two fighters to make a great fight.

Look at Mayorga. His style is pretty much straight forward and consistent in every fight. He's a straight ahead slugger who throws only haymakers. Exciting style, but he alone can't make a great fight. Look at his rematch against Forrest. Mayorga implemented his usually aggresive style, but it was a borefest because of Vernon's tactics of avoiding a slugfest.

You point to Trinidad-Hopkins. Watch the fight again. Who pressed the action? Who was moving forward the whole fight? It was Trinidad, who usually prefers a slugfest. It was Hopkins who was the tactician and defensive fighter that night. And that was the smart move on his part. Hopkins' fights are usually not very entertaining, but he dominates.

Trinidad, like Mayorga, trys to create excitement every time he steps into the ring. When their fights are boring, it's usually their opponent's fault.

okay fair enough..but still tito has not been able to do it at these weights...anway i take it back about the excitment but on saturday i still think it was mayo doing more of it..(and the crowd for of PR)..but he does create exciment but not as much as gatti alrigh lets leae it at that...what was this topic about..crap i forgot..anyway i still win on that whole trinidad being out when he got up against hopkins..i wanna see a rematch right after the hop/sturm fight

oh this was a hate tito thread lol..well yeah great way to start fights anyway...i am one of the few that think tito can take taylor and winky and i think he should...it just shouldnt be a ppv...that would be crap cuz it would be a tacticful fight and not very exciting

I never denied that Trinidad was out against Hopkins. All i stated was that he was on his feet when the fight was stopped. Anyways, that point was towards Italian250 who stated that Trinidad was "laying on the floor ko'd like a *****".
