"First of all Hello to all whom love boxing, now to kill ya hating-ness of one of the best boxers (not only puerto rican) this generation has seen tito trinidad. First of all who made hopkins the man he is now, tito . Who was the one who really gave him a fight in which he had to fight with all his skills and dirty tactics cough cough he holds allot and doesnt get penalized for pulling down his opponents head, tito. Who was the one that needed to go back to philly after 9/11 to train an extra 2 weeks just to beat this "one dimensional fighter? hopkins! who was helpin people after 9/11? tito. who lost cuz of that tito. the man at that time was 40-0 with 34 kos. he just finished beatn dlh who ran (it should have been a draw), who destroyed joppy tito! who beat whitaker with no doubt, tito, who destroyed vargas before the low blows, tito! who beat reid tito. comon man if anything I smell allot of hopkins nuthangers all around, people just dont want to admit tito is better then him and the only reason he lost was due to 9/11, so to all u tito haters if they ever rematch watch hopkins go down big time and oh who sent mayorga into retirement cuz he wants to be peaceful now lol tito !!!!!!"

Dog, c'mon man....I understand that you love Tito, he's one of my favorites too. But Bernard thoroughly beat his ass that night. The only difference that I saw in Tito that night from any other night was that he couldn't hurt someone in front of him. Who made Hopkins? I'd say Hopkins made Hopkins cus we wouldn' be talkin about him if he fought and lost to Tito. The man stays hungry and determined, don't take that away from him. Would any boxer NOT use all their skills against Tito? What sense does that make mentioning that Bernard had to do that? As a matter of fact as the fight went on it seemed more like Tito was using all of his skills to beat Hopkins. Look, man, I got love for Tito, but in their last encounter Tito was by far the inferior fighter. If your better you win, your pops doesn't step in for you. Is Tito better now? Judging from his last fight, I'd say he's not better than Hopkins yet but he will be eventually.

He was beat fair and square by Hopkins and would be again, no doubt though Tito is a legend

I'll never understand why people are automatically labeled "haters" if they thought a particular fighter just didnt look all that impressive in a fight and posts that opinion; but I even more dont understand why were labeled "nughugger" for appreciating the talent displayed in the ring during a fight! As a fan of boxing, naturally I prefer to see a fight that impresses me in some fashion, and then I might want to post about it. Doing that does not make me a nuthugger. That is a gross word; a sterotype that just doesnt seem accurate when it comes to boxing fan's appreciating a good fighter??

How much praise is "ok" for a fan; and when does it cross the line into "nuthugging" anyway. And who get's to decide such a thing anyway?? It's just ****** really

I thing it is just a new lingo, which you defined precisely:

"Hater" is a poster that thinks that a particular fighter sucks.

          "Nuthugger" is a talent-appreciating poster.

There is nothing negative about it anymore, having heard it so many times now.

The funny thing is that this classification misses other types of posters.

Haters and Nuthuggers, but no Hobbittes !!!

Come on tracylee havn't you yet realised what the crack is.
I like Tito, Mayorga, Hopkins, infact loads of fighters across the world so i'm obviously on their 'nuts' and there is a fair few i don't like eg like Calzaghe, Byrd even though i think they are good fighters i really don't like them very much so i must be a hater lol

It just shouldnt be "one or the other" ...I'm kinda neutral except for where 2 fighters are concerned; but I like alot of boxers and what the do in the ring!
