You might be right. Especially if LL played it safe, fought tall, and went for a points victory.

I tend to agree that these talented 6'5" plus HWs of modern times, would have been murder to deal with for, the smaller fighters of the past.

We do know that LL didn't have a Ray Mercer type, TRUE IRON chin, so prime vs prime, Mike would have had a punchers chance.

That's how good Tyson was before he did break mentally in his life and career.

You CAN'T call those guys "better bums", Iron's reign at this point sht all over Wilder's reign and even over Joshua record (including if he beat Parker).

Wilder is beating out of shape fata$$es like Stiverne, OREOlla, Molina.
lets not skip ahead with holmes. i dont care what he did AFTER tyson. he was on a long layoff when he fought tyson.

the other names were bums (spinks was shot).

wilder would have beten those same guys tyson did.

I think Deontay is taking this a bit too personal and emotional. Mike Tyson wounded both his ego and pride, since the moment he questioned how well he can take a punch.

Since that time Wilder has been on the defensive every time Mike Tyson's name is ever mentioned. He perceives Mike Tyson as a jealous hater of his.

All this stems from a lack of communication. The two simply don't know each other. They are speaking at each other rather than to each other.

I sincerely believe that if the two could ever meet privately in person, I think they would both walk away with a renewed sense of a deep, mutual and profound respect for one another.

No, it's just that Tyson made them look bad.

You call TNT TUcker a bum when Tucker beat Douglas, McCall, went 12 good rounds with a prime agressive Lewis.

                lewis woulda stopped Willder.

Tucker was mean, Iron chined tough dude with a solid jab.

Let's say Spinks was over the hill, it's still a better win than an over the hill Arreola.

I hear that. He's willing to fight him anywhere, and he's willing to take whatever offer they make as long as Joshua takes the same deal in the rematch. Yeah......what a ridiculous guy this wilder is.

Yes he is. Imagine if Maidana said to Mayweather you get $1.5 mil and i keep the rest in a rematch.

Does he still want this rematch offer even if he loses?

Has Tyson ever fought someone as big as Wilder? Has Wilder ever fought someone as small as Tyson? Why people pretend that prime Tyson wasn`t stopped by Douglas?
