Wilder should feel that way if not he should not be in a boxing ring. Now if anybody believes him or cares is a different matter but how Wilder feels should be like he is King of the Earth, it is on him to prove that he is and he has a long way to go but without that sort of belief in himself he would never even get close to that.

Confidence is everything in a fighter, that people still don't get that as hardcore fans of the sport is something to behold. It is why dudes that destroy confidence either through making a guy doubt themselves or through straight up destructive power are not guys most people want to fight.

I like Wilder and as a Champ you need to be confident but I don't agree with alot of what he just said. I personally think a 1986 Tyson stops Wilder. I don't believe today's training is superior than the 80's or 90's and even if they where those fighters would have access to those training methods if they were fighting today so that's a non sensible statement. I also believe the fighters Tyson beat back then if they where fighting today would beat Wilder, Joshua and Parker and they are Tony Tucker, Bonecrusher Smith, Lewis, Tyrell Biggs, Razor Ruddock and Holyfield also fighters who never fought Tyson who have retired would beat today's Champs Are Razor Ruddock and Vital Klitschko. So I disagree with Wilder those fighters are superior to today's Champions in my opinion. Like I said I don't mind Wilder having these opinions as he is a Champ I just happen to disagree with him.

Weather you are actually better than past legends or not makes no difference. It's still disrespectful to make those kind of boasts. As talented as Ali was, he also popularized being obnoxious and disrespectful.

imho, wilder would have beaten up the champs tyson did. wilder would have been owner of the hw div in tysons era.

and i still dont know why he HAS to say tyson would beat his ass. we will never know.
Come on man, if you’re any kind of fan of boxing you can’t compare the skillset of Tyson to that of Wilder. If you do, then you’re trolling or YDKSAB.

Wilder relies on one weapon, a deadly right hand, but lacks any kind of boxing fundamentals. Sadly, the opposition he’s fought so far have lacked the basic ability to avoid it.

Seriously, enough with this Wilder love. He’s ****in awful.

Klitschko ended up losing. This all happened the same year Wilder won the title. When exactly was he supposed to unify with Klitschko?
Your an apologist for deontayduckus wilderquackus....you know deontayduckus wilderquackus wanted nothing to do with Klitschko and now he wants nothing to do with AJ.....talk is cheap like a duck that quacks this is all deontayduckus wilderquackus is doing....quacking at high decibels and name dropping......that is the PBC (protecting boxing cowards) modeus operandi.

You call TNT TUcker a bum when Tucker beat Douglas, McCall, went 12 good rounds with a prime agressive Lewis.

              lewis woulda stopped Willder.

Tucker was mean, Iron chined tough dude with a solid jab.

Let's say Spinks was over the hill, it's still a better win than an over the hill Arreola.
Glad to see some love for TNT, he is waaaaay underrated IMHO. Not an ATG great obviously but far from Bruce Seldon bum status.

You sound like a brother that knows boxing.

Tony Tucker was a good B level fighter, Biggs was a good B level fighter, Ruddock was a good B level fighter and Holyfield was an excellent A level fighter. A prime Holmes was a force. People forget that he was heavyweight champ for 7 years and had 21 title defenses. Wilder is sadly mistaken if he thinks that today's heavyweights are technically superior. No way today's unproven heavyweights beats those guys.

Even Tua would put a hurting on Wilder.

                  1) the ONLY thing that is certain is......wait for it.......WE WILL NEVER KNOW

                  2) tyson had skill vs a certain kind of opponent. the scared kind. once you hit him back......

                  3) while wilder is far from perfect, he wouldnt need to be vs berbick, thomas, tucker, smith, tubbs, seldon, spent spinks, etc, etc.

so, you can go on praising tyson for beating up those he was supposed to beat up but wilder ''fans'' cant ?!?!?
