Just read what Abel Sanchez said recently "We can't allow to let Usyk into his rhythm from Round 1". And thats exactly an mistake. The harder Gassiev tries from Round 1 the more tired he will become as the fight progresses.

Naw, man. You shouldn't give a fuck if it's an excellent fight - just focus the hell on doing everything to BEAT him. Same goes for Usyk. That's how excellent fights happen.

Good win for Usyk fighting a big guy, but Gassiev is superior to him.

As it stand I'm favouring Gassiev over Usyk - even though I prefer Usyk. If I had to bet money it would be on Gassiev.

If Usyk shelters when being pressured by Gassiev, he is going to take some heavy body shots and will be hit hard through his guard.

Except, Gassiev doesnt get tired...he only gets better as the fight goes on. This is a true 50/50 fight

Gassiev is a very well trained fighter. This will be a hard fight for both and close but Usyk is the more versatile athlete.

After Usyk takes the first body shot he will be forced to fight in Gassiev's pace, or get Knocked out early

It isn't! Gassiev has a lower chance of winning against Usyk than Briedis did against Usyk and Briedis is as far as I'm concerned, a better boxer (at the moment) than Gassiev is with more experience to boot. I also believe Brieidis has just as much punching power, if not more compared to Gassiev.

And Briedis never got tired in any other fight like he did against Usyk. That's because Usyk boxes at a pace and intensity that pretty much no other boxer above light heavyweight can cope with without getting tired. Gassiev is going to feel it like Briedis did.

Mairis Brieidis would be Usyk's toughest opponent at cruiser weight in my opinion.

Usyk on the other hand beat better opponents in their home countries and even home cities. Glowacki and Briedis both Top 5 Cruiserweights and in their absolute prime. Usyk beat them at home to capture 2 World titles.
YA SEE?? I am already changing my pick. Geez, thanks a lot. Can't even get out of this thread without wavering...
