more overrated..cotto or margarito?

for PR it is Cotto and for Mexican it Margarito, everybody need pride for the country dont they and I dont blame them for doing so.

How can we say that Margarito is over rated when he is not even tested yet against the real big names? He maybe feared reason why he is being avoided but not overrated. At least we don't know yet for now.

If Cotto would re-adapt his Boxer-Puncher style, he'd defintely be less overrated....He looked unstoppable when his career shot off...

But his whole style seems to have shifted to brawling the last couple fights...defence looks different, jab isn't popping out as much...dunno..

Cotto is better then Margarito in my eyes....Yet he needs to get his game together...If margarito falls, noones cares...If Cotto falls, people are waiting to pounce on him...

****ty chin wtf? He got dropped by a guy with 26 KOs. Give the guy a break. We all agree that Mayorga has a great chin right? Well hes been dropped 5 times that I know of. More things come into play that give a guy the title of a "****ty chin." Cotto=most hated on fighter...I swear hes going to have to kill somebody in the ring before he gets his respect.

i totally agree with you man, i dont know why you gets no respect here, even hatton gets more respect and he has been hurt the same amount or even more times than cotto.

Damn right. Alot of people thought Hatton could KO Collazo.. That he was a bum and look what happend. Also with the Tszyu fight. It wasn't hard for Hatton. All he did was clinch and land some rabbit punches.

Cotto has faced the better competition. Out of 27 fights and not 41.

Cotto might be a little overated in my opinion I mean I love to watch him fight and he is only getting better I think he is at Castillos level right now. Margarito is not overated at all he is just one tuff s.o.b.

Cotto def has the better resume. I don't think Cotto is overrated, Margarito is overrated mostly by his fans & some of the press.

Easy q, Margarito is more overrated.

Cotto is a great fighter, one of my favourites. he's only overrated by some of the PR bias on here who think that Collazo was "robbed" or that Tito was god incarnate.

I'd say Cottos chin was questionable rather than "****ty". He hasn't been Kod yet so lets wait and see when he steps up the competition at 147. I'd like to see Judah v Cotto, whoever mentioned Zab. That one could go either way.

i acutally think cotto is the better figher with a ****y chin..margarito has the slowest hands in boxing out of all the top contenders and is easy to hit..so i say margarito

i agree cotto is a good boxer, but that cant get u nowhere without a chin, so id have to say cotto

I would have to say Margarito.I don't see anything in this guys skills or accomplishments that would warrant the hype he gets.
