In a fantasy round robin of all-time heavies, he would fare as well as Ali and Louis.

Ali always struggled against Norton and Frazier. Prime Tyson would have annihilated those two in the same night. He would have been popping Foreman with combinations and angles that would have left him helpless against that kind of speed. He would have made the Klits look like ******s.

Johnson and Lewis are up there too, but the prime Tyson (1987-88) was a sharp blade to cut down anyone.
I'd give Vitali a good chance to beat Tyson. He was tall, rangy, awkward and had a high workrate and an iron chin.

In the same way you don't base judgment solely on skill set (and include eye test) I factor in skills, resume, eye test, on significant likelihood.

For example, Manny cheating with PEDs or Marg using illegal handwraps. No direct evidence, but circumstantially both cases are safe to presume guilt

All of that factors into how I rate ATG guys, but it's a subjective list like anyone elses

          "knockout losses or not".........................or NOT?

"Or not" is what your striving for when your legs are long gone. When Robinson went to Hawaii (twice) to take on Harrington, a very tough "contender" who won and lost against the best. Robinson was paid nicely because the folks on the island were grateful to see the HoF, ATG and pound for pound King!

If you think being KO"d by a nobody is the same as going 10 with a contender and dropping a decision you have your
          priorities screwed up.

Don't try to compare the two Jones is not on that level...
          ........no one is!
