Showtime doesn't say what they pay for fights, but they pay more for Wilder than anyone else because of the ratings he delivers.

Why isn't he on PPV? because he can't sell PPV.
There is one successful PPV fighter in the US (Canelo). So we're supposed to pretend that Wilder is a failure because he isn't a PPV star in a market that is trying to get rid of PPV?

Sure, he's justifying his 1-2 million dollars paydays with good ratings.

Can he compar himself to a guy that makes 20, 30 millions?

This is like when Golovkin vs Canelo was the biggest figth in boxing in 2016.
My point remains. The B side should accept a minority of the PPV split. I was hoping for 70-30 for that fight, and I hope something similar for this one as well.

He's likely making more than that.

AJ isn't making 30 million. His market doesn't generate enough revenue for that kind of payday. Probably made about half that for his last fight. For the Parker unification, 20+ seems reasonable, but 30 isn't happening.

If Parker is getting 33%, Wilder likely gets 40%.

How do you know Parker is getting 33%?

He made 20mil against a unknown Takam.. He will make way more than 30 mill against Fury.. Infact he will probably make over 50mil for that fight.

There have been public reports that Parker's take is approximately halfway between 30% & 35%.

There have been media reports that Parker's take is one third and Joshua's take is two thirds.

My personal sources say the split is approximately 67/33 (that may be rounding up slightly for Parker, wouldn't be shocked if the deal was closed at 67.25/32.75 or something like that). But either way, Parker got pretty close to a third, if not actually a third as many have reported.

His purse was reported at 10 million pounds (so 13-14 million USD?).

It's possible he made more than that, but 30 million like that other poster said? Not happening.

The article claims he ended up making something close to 20m against Kiram. It might be BS, but that's what the article says.

The article says Parker got 28%. At least as a guaranteed purse.

                      What article says that?

Mandatories get 25-30% depending on the sanctioning organization. There's no way Parker, for an undefeated vs undefeated unification accepted less than 30%.

Hearn offered 30% many times and Parker always said no. Why would he then accept 28%? Doesn't make any sense.
