Guy looks like a real life superhero ffs. And he's a giant a$$ mfer. And he can fight better than anyone who's looked like a superhero previously. I remember that Tye Fields cat. Not every British fighter get's to be liked by the British fans though. They rejected Fury and treated him like garbage.

Thats not true at all. The fans are not the British Boxing Board of Control. Fury is well liked here for the most part, but someone who says as many controversial things as him will always attract haters.

But overall he is very popular. He does great numbers on tv, his fight with Klitschko did huge numbers on ppv, his youtube interviews especially on IFL do HUGE hits, and the comments on those videos are overwhelmingly positive. This is despite the drug controversy.

I just dont understand it, not saying hes a bad guy or fighter but his actual boxing skill is very average in my opinion i dont see his love and praise justifiable by his physique and being arguably the best of a bad bunch

I think he's brought back a modicum of relevancy back to the heavyweight division to a mainstream audience that hasn't been since perhaps Lennox Lewis/Mike Tyson.

Also it looks like he's turning into the international face of Under Armour because here in Sydney I've seen massive posters of him in the shop front of our biggest sporting goods retailer.
