    • LOL, then you want to fight him in US where both of you are unknown.

Why not in UK where AJ is superstar?

      You're contradicting yourself.

      • [QUOTE=WBC WBA IBF;18469704]Assuming it was comparable opponents, Wilder's fight would sell more tickets.

Non-US fans don't realize that while Wilder isn't some big PPV star, he is still a star in the US. Showtime has dozens and dozens of fighters. Only two of them draw significantly more viewers than the rest: Wilder and Broner.

Wilder is one of Showtime's most reliable ratings draws and he is a solid ticket seller. Wilder vs. King Kong will likely sell 12-15,000 tickets in New York next month head to head with HBO's show in New York.

If Joshua vs. Parker had been held in New York on that night instead of in England, it would struggle to sell that amount.

Wilder is no star in the US stop talking rubbish tickets available for all areas of his Ortiz fight cheapest ticket 37$ for a small stadium. The fight will 100 percent not be a sell out in a country with over 300 million people.

The truth is Americans dont rate him he has fought no one, US fans are not ****** they support winners. Wilder has not tried to unify or anything just fight f---ing bums.

        • This is bullshorts. Everybody knows Joshua. When you go to Times Square, Joshua is doing anabolic stseroid commercials on huge screen panels while Japanese tourists yell and scream for joy “ahhhh Godzilla!!”

          • A lot of people know of Wilder in the states, more than Joshua. The sad thing is, people don't care or buy into Wlders hype. He hasn't done himself any favours along the way though...

              • I guarantee you have A.J headline a card in the U.S and he'll get more ppl at the gate and more TV viewers in the U.S than what Deontay Wilder would.

All AJ and his promoters would need would be 2 months preparation time.

Boxing is not that big but that's in comparison to other sports. A Las Vegas fight is a big deal. Random people on the streets in big or small cities don't necessarily know who all the boxers are but at the same time it doesn't mean people won't show up to a big fight.

You're right. Joshua can make more money fighting in the UK. I'm also convinced that he could be a big crossover star in the U.S. if he chose to come here.

Joshua coming to the U.S. will do more for his career than it would for Wilder going to the UK.

We know Crawford vs Postol was a flop and didn’t sell well. I said Wilder Ortiz wouldn’t sell much more and it wouldn’t. It would barely get to 100k buys. Pacquiaos last few ppvs didn’t sell real well either. Hell Floyd vs Berto disnt crack 400k and we are supposed to believe wilder, who doesn’t have 10% of Floyd or Manny’s fan base is gonna do 250k buys? Lmao Whatever drug u are on u need to quit. Ward and Kovalev couldn’t hit that 250 k number or GGG until he fought Canelo.

People don’t pay to see wilder. Papered Barclays is proof. I say Crawford doesn’t sell yet his fight at mgm grand garden had as many as wilders did at the same venue when he won his world title.

U need to get a grip and stop d*ck riding. I never made an excuse for Joshua not being as popular in America as wilder. As I explained to u Wilder is only slightly more popular.

If Joshua’s fights were live in prime time on us tv he would have similar or better numbers than wilder.

Americans aren’t hanging out at home at 3pm in the afternoon on Saturdays to watch boxing.
Any FREE HW fight should do well . Thats why Wilder isnt on PPV ,bc THEN he would have had to fight top relevant guys .

Anyone comparing a PPV that aired on both HBO and Showtime networks ,at different times to a FREE fight has brain damage to suggest its proof of popularity .

Everyone in my house hold saw Wilder fight twice ,one was against Arreola , do you think they tuned in bc of Wilder ? They didn't even know who he was , they tuned in bc it was on basic cable and didn't have to pay extra!

That was so ******. But then again, I guess not as ****** as the folks who bought into it. Do that with any boxer not named Mayweather/Pacquiao and you’ll get the same results in the US.
