Horn is an undefeated champ and this is Crawford's first fight at full welter. I don't know how you can seriously call Crawford overrated, but that's fine if you feel that way.

I personally don't want to see Manny fight Crawford, Lomachenko etc. because I don't want to see Manny get stopped or unnecessarily hurt to the head again. Manny is old, aging, and his goals in this sport are unclear at best.
It's going to start looking like the plight of Holyfield or Roy Jones in another 2 or 3 years.

The Pacquiao/Matthysse fight makes some sense to me. But if that's where Manny is at now, he needs to consider retirement more seriously.

Horn is a great first fight for Crawford at 147, it ought to answer some real questions about Crawford at 147.
Can't argue with that, well thought out, well put,

"I look it as he got the victory and that's that. It could have went either way."...good perspective. Respect to TC.

Too bad it does not gel with the "reality" of most Horn detractors here.

Horn was supposed to be an "unknown" being "cherry picked" by Arum for an easy payday for Manny.

Somebody forgot to send Horn the script!!!

Whether he loses to TC is largely irrelevant.

It is just sheer comical to read all the excuses about Manny's loss.
If nothing else i enjoy reading them. Pure gold if you ask me.

...and i am a big Manny fan who still thinks he is one of the greatest to ever lace up a glove.

Kenny Bayless protected Floyd when Maidana got rough. Mark Nelson let Horn get away with elbows and headbutts on Manny all night. He also gave Horn the gift of not calling the fight when Pacquiao all but had him out on his feet in the 9th round. Crawford is bigger, better and in his prime. Horn is a dead man.

You forgot to mention Horn fought dirty, using head butts, elbows and headlocks and the referee did not even warn him. Horn’s face after the fight was telling a different story.

Come on man, he wouldn't even try to shut Horn up after Horn continuously talked shyt and pulled his B card. Horn specifically said "you think you got robbed? Let's do it again and prove it" and Manny straight up ran for cover. DUCK.

I'm on the Jeff Horn bandwagon, I like the way he fights. I wouldn't have minded seeing him make a few more token defenses before facing someone as gifted as Crawford.

It was always something Manny struggled with it just hadn't been illuminated to that degree in a while. IMO, that was the most Pac had been roughed up physically since his fight with Agapito Sanchez (rip) who was also rough when he was around...I think Sanchez was DQ'ed in that fight

Anyway, that is the aspect of the Crawford-Horn fight that intrigues me the most - what will Crawford do to either avoid that action, or engage in it.

Horn slapped Manny all up and down that ring. Threw him around and bloodied him up. Pacman didn't want no rematch so that tells you who won. TC seems to know he's got a fight on his hands. If you can't get the Errol Spence fight, Jeff Horn is the 2nd biggest challenge for a ww title. Boxrec actually ranks Jeff Horn above Errol Spence. Both those guys chew run time up and spit him out. TC will definitely have to earn it the hard way if he wants to be a 3 division champ. Beating an animal like Horn for a title is harder than beating Guerrero and Garcia for belts by running for your life like a beta in the championship rounds of both those fights.
