I thought he was trying to build up his rep and be more active. He could've fought this caliber of opponent in Feb. or March, instead he's on a two fight per year schedule, same as before. Why not get Andrade? He has some type of HBO deal now right?

Lets keep it real, Danny was just chasing two guys who won't be free until 2019 (the trilogy is coming lol), while running away from that Charlo at 160 over at Showtime. I like Danny but this move makes little sense. He's not even a mandatory for anybody. Beating Charlo would've given him that at least.

Even after the trilogy, BJS jumping in front of him for that paper trail anyway. He's in complete limbo now.
Jacobs is coming from Showtime. Sulecki is coming from Showtime. If Charlo wants to do anything at middleweight he will also have to come from Showtime.

Don't sleep on Sulecki doe, dude got some tricks.

He looked better, cleaner than Andrade did vs Culcay.
Doesn't mean he's better than Andrade but still interesting.

And I remember he totally outclassed Centeno jr, stopped him.

At least we can all agree that Jacobs is getting a better opponent than Charlo who is fighting that Centeno guy.

Danny should outgun him, Sulecki is still unproven but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gave Danny hell.

The thing is Sulecki wasn't cracking that much at 154, so 160 I don't know if he's hurting cats. He was going to beat Vanes IMO, but Danny is a big fella.

Sulecki is 6'1 and ranked number 4 of 154 by boxrec (and rightfully so).
That's a lot better than Arias or Sullivan.

If that dude who was quite a big 154 pounders was draining his body like a ****** he might be a problem at 160.

I don’t hate this fight, much better than that last fight with Arias. Danny lost all his momentum coming off the GGG fight at a sold out MSG by fighting unknown Arias in a boring fight and not selling any tickets. Would rather see Andy Lee, but Sulecki is ok for this level of fight for Danny
