Considering Andy Lee and Spike O sullivan were the 2 names being mentioned recently... this is a great fight.

Golovkin V Canelo, Charlo V that hugo guy, ******* Saunders is fighting Murray, Sergiy V andrade.

and out of the names left who exactly is there for jacobs to fight? this is the best fight to be made under the circumstances.
I knew people were gonna cry and say Jacobs was ducking everybody that had a fight lined up. This is a solid fight.

Who said the Charlo fight was a good one? It's terrible.

And just because this is the only fight available to Jacobs doesn't mean it's good. It's not.

Daniel Jacobs is close to securing an opponent for his next fight, just not the one everyone expected. Keith Connolly, Jacobs' manager, confirmed to BoxingScene.com on Monday that negotiations are ongoing for Poland's Maciej Sulecki to battle Jacobs on April 28 in a fight HBO would televise. If a deal is completed for the Jacobs-Sulecki fight, it will be the main event of a card at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Jacobs' hometown.

yeah, sulecki is huge and despite his low KO % has shown he has power recently. He's a decent boxer and its a good fight imo. People just like to complain.

let me say right now that jacobs does NOT duck ANYONE! that is 100% pure fact!!! another pure fact is that charlo was the one who ducked jacobs not the other way around! that is also 100% FACT!

                    Danny making moves though right?

I thought he was trying to build up his rep and be more active. He could've fought this caliber of opponent in Feb. or March, instead he's on a two fight per year schedule, same as before. Why not get Andrade? He has some type of HBO deal now right?

Lets keep it real, Danny was just chasing two guys who won't be free until 2019 (the trilogy is coming lol), while running away from that Charlo at 160 over at Showtime. I like Danny but this move makes little sense. He's not even a mandatory for anybody. Beating Charlo would've given him that at least.

Even after the trilogy, BJS jumping in front of him for that paper trail anyway. He's in complete limbo now.

Was hoping that Sulecki would get a title shot at 154 after getting some good wins in the division. Would have rather see him fight Jermell. Real good opposition for Jacobs tho, sulecki definitely has a shot
