My point is this move was suppose to (1) increase his level of activity. As it stands that doesnt look to be the case here. It was also suppose to (2) raise his notoriety by having a formal promoter. These last few moves have done no such thing. I'm willing to bet he sells even less tickets this time at Barclays than he did against Quillin (the number was 8,300).

It just looks like he's spinning his wheels. He could've probably went up to 168 and started cleaning up, instead of this.

By Dan Ambrose: Danny Jacobs will not be fighting Jermall Charlo before he gets an eventual fight against the winner of the Gennady “GGG” Golovkin vs. Saul “Canelo” Alvarez rematch. Jacobs’s new promoter Eddie Hearn says the unbeaten Charlo (26-0, 20 KOs) is not in the plans that he has for Jacobs (32-2, 29 KOs). That’s not a fight that Hearn wants for Jacobs...

”Now the plan is for Danny to fight in November. I like the Lemieux fight for Danny Jacobs. I think that’s a great fight, and ten he should fight the winner of Canelo against Triple G. That’s an obvious fight. The fight against Golovkin, many had it for Danny Jacobs. That’s an obvious rematch. The Canelo fight is there win or lose. I don’t think Charlo is necessarily a target for what we’re doing and thinking right now..."

Jacobs went to HBO in a chase for Lemieux, and BJ Saunders ruined everything! Charlo is fighting an eliminator with Centeno on Showtime, Murata is on ESPN, Derevyanchenko has the same trainer as he does, and Saunders went with Murray! I know Andrade is his homie, but business is business! Should've went with Andrade!
I agree but we all know Andrade is on some BS right now.

I can't believe Andrade swerved IBF #1 contender Sergiy Derevyanchenko!

Everyone wants GGG or Canelo & there are like 4 or 5 quality guys who got an argument to fighting either of those guys in a fight or two. So there is some strategic sh^t going on at 160 with no one wanting to take too hard of a fight & risk the payday & chance to fight GGG or Canelo. Not what I love to see, but ultimately I understand it, but its obviously more business sh^t than boxing sh^t.
            Exactly this.

still hoping this fight dosnt get made. Sulecki has unfinished business at super welter. If the fight does happen I assure you its only because the $ is too good for Sulecki to turn down. Jacobs is simply way too big for him. I was originally very critical of Sulecki for potentially taking this fight but from his perspective main eventing on HBO vs a big name like Jacobs is too good an offer. For sure his biggest payday.

Sulecki is probably pretty close in size

Billy Hoe is fighting second tier opponent , Miracle man is fighting second tier opponent. Best fight the best or ? Wont they regret after they retire that they didnt fought best man in division ?

Height wise sure...but everyone knows how big Jacobs rehydrates. I'm a Polish boxing aficionado so of course il be watching regardless. I just don't think the fight makes sense for Sulecki apart from it being a big payday. Why not stay at super welterweight? Fight Vanes M in the title eliminator for Charlo and see where you stand. Don't think he would beat Charlo anyway but I would give him a chance against Hurd and Sadam Ali.
