Your post makes sense, Daggum. Boxing isn't a strongman's contest anymore, at least for the well-offs, and I don't blame any of them for that. They get punched in the face for work.guys i hate to break it to you but some people just see boxing as a way to make money. they arent emotionally attached to it in any way. they dont care about proving themselves or any of that nonsense. yes maybe 90 percent of people think hes a coward but the 10 percent that are fans and pay to see him still add up for millions for him. its like trump and america. yes hes a moron but he doesnt try to please the people who hate him.
I'm sure we'll see Davis-Loma when Davis has at least 25 fights, somewhere in the neighborhood of 2020.Comment

Justifying a duck in two paragraphs.Different fighters peak at different times, Davis' handlers think he still hasn't peaked yet neither in popularity nor skillwise, he still has a lot to learn before he steps in there with Lomachenko plus he needs time to build up his name so that when such a dangerous fight takes place, both fighters get compensated well enough because it can be a make it or break it type of fight for both.
Gassiev will probably never be as popular as the American Davis could be, who's already one of the most followed young boxers out there on social media already, they should keep working on promoting him and keeping him more active, he should also try to get a belt first before getting in there will Lomachenko.Comment

Davis had a very successful amateur career, winning many national championships. He won the 2012 National Golden Gloves Championship,[7] three straight National Silver Gloves Championships from 2006–2008,[8] two National Junior Olympics gold medals, two National Police Athletic League Championships, and two Ringside World Championships, among others. Davis finished his illustrious amateur career with an impressive record of 206–15.[9] And an IBF FORMER CHAMP. HE AIN'T READY THOUGH.Comment

In other words: I support ducking and waiting for the guy to get old.How is Davis vs Lomachenko, "the best fights"?
Davis is 23, and largely inexperienced at the top level, with one good win in Pedraza.
I hate how in boxingscene, to a group of fans, "best" fights means when one guy will be the clear favorite to win.
Wait until Davis gets more experience at the top level before you call a fight vs Lomachenko the "best fights".
Yeah sure.Comment

We all call Gassiev-Tank-Canelo too green but unlike Tank, Canelo-Gassiev took their chances despite being so damn young against the best fighter at that time in their weight class. It doesn't justify ducking and ****.Comment
