Floyd is managing Tank’s career similar to how he managed his own post-135. Also, Floyd understands that Tank is still relatively green and that the risk-reward ratio isn’t good enough for a Lomachenko fight yet.

That said, Lomachenko-Davis is probably the best fight in the division right now; but, unless Tank unravels from a lack of discipline (if he is), the more time elapses before that fight the better it is for him. The experience Tank can get in the next few fights can be result changing (because he does have the talent to beat Lomachenko not necessarily the experience yet).

I think the fight eventually happens at a higher weight class.

I want the fans the media and lomachenko to keep hounding davis. its easy to get under davis's skin maybe then he'll want to finally fight and will demand it. kind of like what happened with lara vs cinnabon.

Anybody who don't want to see best vs best is no fan of boxing just a fanboy

If more fans quit **** e ing on fighters that lose it would help also. And I became a Canelo fan BECAUSE he fought Trout and Lara(had canelo by point over Trout and down by two with Lara)and proved he was a REAL champ.Never had a prob with him not fightin GGG until he won lineral/Ring 160 Title and kept it.And even if he loses by KO I hope people stay behind him.If he had waited until sept I might different as GGG might not have much time left.

There isn't much to be "ready" for Usyk, who is sloppy as hell and not in the same level P4P that Lomachenko is. If you think Davis is ready for Lomachenko, you are on drugs, or drunk. Not saying that Gassiev will dispatch of Usyk, just saying Gassiev has it easier with Usyk, who isn't all that in my eyes, than Davis has it with Lomachenko, who is pretty damn great and has twice as much am fights as Davis.

We're talking about an A+ level fighter in Lomachenko. Usyk, maybe a B level, idk and idc what he is, but it sure as hell not an A level fighter.
I disagree completely with your analysis of Usyk. CW is the deepest weight class there is, and dude is about to be one of only a handful of fighters to unify an entire division.

But that being said - if you're a WORLD CHAMPION, meaning you're literally at the top of the sport, and by implication, one of the top four fighters in your class (of course this isn't always the case) - how can you say "you aren't ready" for another world champion in your division?

When will you "be ready"? Of course, there is simply NO "being ready" for Lomachenko - he's just that much better than everyone around him.. However, if you're a world champion in his weight class, and you use that excuse, you're blatantly saying "I know I will lose to this guy, and therefore I will not fight him." Pretty weak IMO..

Of course, I'm not in there shoes, and it's not my money and career on the line, so I can't pretend to dictate what a guy should do. He knows what a one-sided humiliating beatdown would do to his image.

Still - it is what it is - and I'm going to call it like I see it every single time.

Funny, I don't remember the Mass Shooters feeling the same way when Ca$hnelo was fighting Mayweather while an older Lomaputa was fighting Jose Ramirez, .

Tank Davis' response is typical uneducated, thug, 3rd-grade reading level shyte. "Get off muh **** man," "get off muh ****.." "muh duck muh **** muh ****..."

What a chump. His days are numbered. I doubt he even gets to Lomachenko unless he takes the path of least resistance to become and remain a world champion.
