In my culture, that is actually being disrespectable. He is acting like a snob and rubbing it in acting like he is so high and mighty.

I just lost my title fair and square. Why would i want that back? For sympathy?

He is actually making Dorticos look like a chump.

Like hey, keep the cameras on me while I give this belt back to the defeated opponent. Look how honorable i am smh

Gassiev is actually quite humble & respectable guy. He never trashtalks, never says bad things about any opponnents.

I think thats fairly common. Cuz when you win a belt they don't actually give you your belt or have a new belt right off. They mail it to you weeks later usually. And the giving of the belt is usually just a for show thing often times.

Sometimes I've heard cats taking it & mailing it back to the guy they beat once they get their belt. Other times I've heard of guys giving the belt back right away like Gassiev did.

Cool gesture all the same cuz I'm sure most boxers pass that duty on to some other guy on their team cuz it seems like it could be a awkward or weird thing.

One thing I've learned about Gassiev is that cat is a great winner. Its easy to brag & boast & talk all the sh^t & jump arond acting a damn fool when you won, but I like those cats who act like they've been there before cuz I think thats more how I'd act in a similar situation.

I know that but his gesture is overdone and unnecessary.

You just got your ass beat.. would you want your opponent to feel sorry for you and hand you the belt back in front of all the cameras?

It was a bogus move.. if anything, that probably made dorticos feel more down about himself. Its like i dont need handouts, im a man.

well I mean it is his belt..He has to wait to receive his in the mail..Fighters who lose their titles always get the belt back after the fight
