There have been exceptions of course.

<--- This guy is example number one.
I don't know, man. Roy spent most of his career above 160. Kind of hypocritical. I know you say there are exceptions, but maybe you're not giving these guys enough credit?

Im saying Roy is example number one of the exceptions. Im not hating on either fighter. I think they are both great fighters but for me the best fighters excluding a few have always been smaller.

where do u rank the winner on a P4P list?

and i just found out gassiev is 24 yrs old. mofo looks at least 32. damn man if he wins wouldn't he be the youngest undisputed champ since tyson? holyfield was 25 when he did it at cruiser.

Good call. I think if people rate Crawford, Golovkin and Lomachenko in the top #3, then I think there is very valid reason to have the winner of the tournament as #1.

The only thing (probably the main thing) against them is that they are not American.

But if you want to claim Crawford - well look who he beat and who they beat. If Crawford get's top pick for beating that African guy (who beat two lowly rated champs), then the same question must apply. Now Crawford has moved up and will challenge the easiest champ out there (merit wise would anybody really say Horn is a bona fide champion, seeing everybody had him losing clearly against Pac Man).

If Usyk wins, he would have beaten 3 top champs who had beaten other champs.

As there is no criteria to state who is and who isn't, it's only going to be subjective and bias.

On merit i do think the WBSS Cruiserweight Champ will have a very good case.

They usually seem to be. So Ali wasn't "The Greatest"?

Ha, Ive stated my opinion on this many times and have been beaten up for it but no. Ali was not the greatest, he isnt even the greatest HW of all time. He was very good and an all time great but he isnt number one or even number two on my all time HW list. I know thats Blasphemy for most of you...

Oh, not for me. Ali is way up there on the heavyweight list, no doubt, but not necessarily number on. The first one to call him the greatest was Ali. Haha. He's on up there though for me.

They get to enter the top 10, I guess. Not my top 10, but i'm sure major boxing publications will. And i'm sure they're already top 5 on some crazy ass mother****ing fans lists. I like Gassiev though.

Oh, with out question he is one of the best HWs ever. People sometimes tend to lose their **** when you question his place at number one. I have no issue with Ali and think he was a great man but I dont run with the herd on much of anything and question things. My opinion most times differ from the masses.

Oh I hear ya there. I don't have him as number one. I also don't like Forrest Gump. I've gotten a lot of hate over that one. Haha.
