If one does a real number on the other than you could have them even higher. ward was p4p top 3 for winning super 6 and people had him ranked there (and even higher when mayweather retired and pac lost) for a long time after, even in the years before beating kovalev where he went on the bum tour and was semi retired. People have also got crawford number 1 for being undisputed in a division which is far worse than cruiser.

In my opinion the winner will be fairly #3 P4P, but in terms of resume if look at the other arguable #1 and #2 you could make the argument for #1, but if we are talking about skills then #3.

I don't really see who is p4p number 1 right now. Terrence Crawford's best win is Postol. That's nothing close to what the winner of the Cruiserweight WBSS will have done to win.

The winner would definitely have a Good argument for P4P #1 based on quality wins on his resume alone . Unfortunately like another poster said . Most times the #1 P4P is based on popularity.
