You sound so dumb, can’t believe you are proud to mention that this British hype fought Takam, lol

Yep. I'm not with the Ortiz hype, but I'm not in denial that Ortiz hype exists & that hype says Ortiz is the baddest mofo in the HW division without a title right now. So outside of Joshua (or maybe Parker, although I'm probably as or more critical of Parker as I am of Ortiz & idk if he's got quite the hype of Ortiz despite holding a belt) Ortiz was the best opponent for Wilder to fight.

But as things go in boxing hindsight will be 20/20 & if Wilder KO's Ortiz than Ortiz will be downplayed as a legit opponent. Thats a pretty standard thing the masses or a large % of boxing fans do though so its to be expected. That doesn't make it a facts before the fight doe.

Though probably not as Pulev was the IBF mandatory and the WBA had agreed that Joshua could fight Pulev first. So made sense to keep the IBF belt then face his WBA mandatory. Ortiz also didn't impress with his 2 fights when promoted by Hearn so it's not like it was a fight that people were clamouring for in the UK.

But of course Ortiz chose to face Wilder instead of waiting for his shot at Joshua, wonder why he did that. He also ducked out of his fight against Ustinov that would have gotten him his mandatory position sooner. For a guy who is supposedly ducked by everyone he sure does like to duck out of fights too.

Personally I think Ortiz has made a mistake in choosing Wilder as an easy route to a title. Wilder I think will beat him and then there goes Ortiz's chance at a big payday.
You don’t make any sense, why was he working with Hearn if he didn’t want AJuice fight, he flat out ducked Ortiz, come on man, Hearn took the easier road and fought Pulev, not because the WBA let him. Ortiz doesn’t care about a payday, he wants to fight the best fights out there, that’s why he is fighting Wilder

Wilder will stop Ortiz quick! Ortiz has high blood pressure and will probably retire after Wilder drills him!!

Ortiz is the best at Heavy aside from AJ and Wilder and he might be better. Only few heavies have his ameteur backround.

Wilder's competition has been poor in the past but this is the most dangerous option available and credit to him for picking it. You can argue Ortiz has lost a step but he's still top 5, it's between him and Parker for who the #3 guy is IMO, I'd say Parker because of level of competition in the past 2 years but might slightly favour Ortiz if they fought.
