Who thinks Gassiev will beat Usyk?

I'm close to switching my pick.... Gassiev could pull it off. Or maybe his win is too fresh in my mind?

I got Gassiev. Usyk is technically superior and better conditioned but I got Gassiev on full on power and durability!!!!! Dude is a ****en machine !!!!! Love seeing those brutal body shots break down his opponents.

    WAR IRON Gassiev !!!!!!!!

I haven't seen his win over the Cuban but it sure sounds like he has a very good chance to beat Usyk who just barely beat his last tough opponent. Cruiserweight is a strong weight class now.

Not sure if gassiev's footwork and punch output are good enough to get by usyk. He'll have to apply pressure to usyk or he's just gonna get jabbed to death.

Maybe he doesnt beat Usyk but I think he'd have better success at heavyweight than him.

I got Gassiev. Usyk might win the early rounds where he's still fresh and can move a lot but he eventually gets tired and then Gassiev takes over. Plus Gassiev with his power and combo is dangerous at any moment of the fight.

He very well could. I still go with Usyk but Gassiev showed a lot of skill tonight. It could get interesting. If he DOES WIN, at 24 or 25 years old, the guy could have a huge career ahead.

that was a very clean old school fight

dorticos could have hugged or ran his way out of a lot of bad spots but fought instead, props to him, you don't see that very often

i think both guys have trouble with more modern crafty fighters... usyk controls distance very well & won't let gassiev control the tempo so much

will be rooting for gassiev though, boxing needs more of that

I give Gassiev a 60% chance to win over Usyk.

Gassiev's problems are he doesn't jab enough, his head is too stationary, and he gets jabbed quite a bit. He's just 24 so he still is learning, that's where Usyk gets a big edge in experience and technical ability.

Uysk has to avoid body shots at all costs, he needs all his stamina for this fight. He needs to consistently pump out his jab which Gassiev is a bit prone to being hit with to keep him from setting up any offense.

If Usyk fights Gassiev the way he did Briedis I think he'll lose. He has to hurt Gassiev as well with something and I'm not sure he's got the power to do so after seeing Gassiev walk through all his opponents' power with no problem.
