It makes a massive difference in a fighters career to get just one fight screw job. The GGG atrocity in indefensible. The Pac Horn fight is indefensible. The first Kov Ward fight was indefensible from the standpoint of all officials in the ring or not. I believe promoters and judges should have NO contact with each other at any venue for any reason at any time. And if the judge is married to a ref they are not eligible. Refs should also not be able to fraternize with promoters or anyone employed by same. This stuff is out of control.

And Golovkin does not, and never could fight like Lomachenko... Golovkin is very good at what he does and has developed a very effective style based around his natural attributes.. IDK what you'd call it... Heavy Handed Stalker or something? Lomachenko is.. something different.

In real life judging and when I judged pro fights we called it effective aggression. Something that Canelo lacked that night,

get rid of judges, get rid of harold lederman worthless ass too. . create an app and allow the PPV audience to submit votes in during a fight. higher percentage wins the fight. this will also increase PPV sales because the app only works with a confirmed purchase. u can say fans are biased and might not have gone to judging school but then I'll mention Adelaide byrd and ask u whats the damn difference.. with fan voting kovalev wins the first ward fight and jacobs beats ggg. every mofo that scores a fight is a biased piece of sht in their own right. might as well have the paying viewers have that luxury then. for non PPV fights it'll bring up ratings by engaging the viewers. let the biased fans decide not these overpaid biased judges. judges get paid for ****ty cards fans dont.

Absolutely not. Most of the comments on these threads demonstrate the majority of people watching the fights and more specifically those that cry casual at the fan that like the wrong fighter PROVES fanbase judging would be an absolute ****ing disaster. Canelos fans would have him up 10 rounds to 2. Wards fans would have the first fight a shutout for Ward, so HELL TO THE FN NO on that bro. It's a comment like yours that proves there would be more bias then ever. You have to be kidding, right?

Said it before and I'll say it again - I ain't accusing Byrd of corruption, but if I did want to rig a card I'd be looking for a chick to do the business. Not that women are more corruptable or less competent - at least not in my world - but it's a male dominated sport and it's my observation that when a female fucks up, men are much more likely to blame it on incompetence or hormones than on corruption. Then the whole thing can get quietly brushed under the rug after we've had a moan about how women don't belong in the sport... until next time. Just my 2p

Golovkin needs to watch more of Lomachenko to win judges in this rematch. Vassil’s movement is what all boxers should learn from. He is like Allen Iverson when he went pro and stunned dribbling ability and pump fakes. Golovkin has no footwork nor does Heavyweight Canelo. If this bout is exactly the same in performance stats and two judges give Bummelo 118-110 people will feel weird for calling Bird’s scoring paid off. Heavyweight Canelo always fights the same

Actually GGGs footwork is perfect for his style of aggression. I have rarely seen anyone cut off a ring on a runner like GGG. Perfect balance. Canelo though not so much.

Triple Gee did not look good. He was throwing a jab every moment just to look busy and many were not connecting while most them were missing or hitting Bummelo’s gloves. I think Triple Gee was paid to fight like this fight so they can make a rematch. Look at how Vassily fights, like a machine, like a Matrix, just combos after combos. It’s impossible to write off Vassil’s comect rate. I can’t find the page but there is performance stats for Vassil’s attack rate and precision. His is the best for a reason.

Two entirely different fighters in two unrelated weight classes. Imagine if GGG fought like Loma. Oscar would try to get him to fight wearing wrist and ankle weights and a blindfold and have the first 4 rounds scored 10-9 for Red Diva before the fight even started.

fans judging gave kovalev the victory vs ward. they also gave jacobs the win vs ggg... so not sure how terrible it'll be. once again I'll ask whats the difference between a biased fan and a biased judge? the only other way to avoid all this sht is apply amateur scoring system to the pros. thats it. they say theres 4 criteria judges apply but only one of them matters.. clean punching. what better way to determine whos landing more clean shots than counting them? if u stick with this system theres gonna be more cards just like byrd that cause controversy.

GGG didn't cut sht on canelo. he was following him around. thats a big difference. canelo would use the same defensive maneuver to escape the ropes and GGG never adjusted. yes he was aggressive enough to put nelo on the ropes but once there he couldn't land sht because of nelo upper body movement. so GGG aggression was ineffective as fck. canelo was called "cement feet" before the fight. afterwards he was a "runner" lol.. GGG couldn't cut the ring that night and his body work was nonexistent because he feared canelo counters.
