If what they say is true about most people buying Floyd's fights because they wanted to see him lose, Floyd would have a record of like 40-10 or worse under this scoring model.
its a suggestion. . the only way that truly eliminates all forms of bias is utilize the amateur point system in the pros. thats it. tally up clean punches and call it a day. use slow motion as well. other than that anything thats proposed its gonna stink of bias. period.

Well sure--she probably has children or grandchildren in private schools. Needs those side deals. I mean--tough scorecard to argue with. Can we come back to reality now? Regardless of who you think one the fight, anyone who's a paid professional that sees the fight that way can't be in this sport. They just can't. A bad night is throwing a red sock in with the whites. Ray Charles could've judged that fight better based on sound.

Here is how it would have went down if she was paid off:

        - She gives Canelo the early rounds. Fair enough.

        - She then sees GGG picking up the pace, pushing hard through the middle rounds and Canelo slowing down significantly but she needs Canelo to win so she scores a couple of the GGG rounds for Canelo.

        - After the 9th round she has Canelo up 7-2, so assuming no knock downs or point deductions she has pretty much done her job and can score the last few rounds to GGG and hand in a reasonable scorecard as Canelo's stamina looked ****ed at this point.

        - What she didn't bank on was Canelo rallying in the last few rounds which ended up being clear Canelo rounds (All three judges had the last 3 rounds for Canelo).

        - She can't go back and change the earlier rounds she snuck in for Canelo because they are inked on the scorecard and has to hand in a 118-110 card.

she would have to " sneak in " 4 of those middle rounds

        can't see it

I think her explanation sounds much more likely

it you are not suggesting that she was paid off, then we pretty much agree

As I said you are blinded by your hate for GGG.

This suggestion is quite possibly worse than your original. This would completely destroy professional boxing as we know it.

Fighting styles would dramatically change, or perhaps more accurately, fighters wouldn't evolve to have a pro style. No-one would sit down on their punches, KO's would dry up, you would just have a bunch of slappers throwing pitty pat **** off the back foot trying to score points.

Guys like Khan would be going down as all time greats and guys like Chavez Snr would probably be labeled as bums. There is a reason why a professional fight can be sold as PPV and an amateur bout for a world title can't attract flys to ****.

this is scary. the ink is hardly dry on her last awful scorecard and now you want to "move forward with her?"

it takes longer than a year to go from thinking canelo won basically every close round against golovkin and being fit to judge another world championship fight. she should never judge again. FFS that fight was not 118-110.
