i dont think arum is gonna do this unless he has other plans for crawford and loma. other wise, i see pac fighting either crawford or loma to pass on the torch. pac doesnt have much time left so i dont think arum is gonna waste any time making pac vs anyone else that's not from the TR stable unless its big money and a fight with lucas aint gonna do that.

Pacquiao doesn't have a torch to pass. The smouldering coals of his career were extinguished in Australia. Otherwise, you're right. Arum probably has zero interest in matching Pacquiao against Matthysse. Although it's probably the most advantageous option for Manny, it doesn't fit Arum's selfish agenda.

This is exactly what boxing needs. A couple years back Mauricio Herrera fought on a Top Rank undercard where most believe he was robbed against Benevidez. Then Jessie Vargas fought on a golden boy undercard when he knocked out Sadam Ali. I thought that was the beginning of them making good fights but they havent worked together since then so this is good news. Mathysse would be dumb not to want to fight on an Espn Ppv. Hopefully this is the beginning of many more good fights
