Manny is past it. And he's been less than optimal for several of his last fights (although I did think he looked good vs Bradley the last time they fought). I can't judge Manny THAT harshly for subpar W's over guys like Algieri or Vargas or the L to Horn (I still say he won that, but it was too close regardless of that & prime Manny wouldn't have been close with a guy that basic).

But again I got no clue wtf you are even going on about. Manny WAS one of the best fighters of his era. Thats my stance. All this **** measuring wins when he was 35+ years old don't really play into that. Many of the greatest fighters from other eras were doing ths same sh^t as Manny or even worse then that at 35+. Its a young mans sport.

So yea they are cashing in on Manny's name. Thats what mfers do in boxing. SRL came back to fight Hector f#cking Camacho ffs. This is a business more than a sport at the level these great fighters get to. So Manny's taking advantage of that like so many others. Its w/e.

We can go back to Manny's prime and look at his hit list. It's not impressive.
Manny had great fights with three fighters (Marquez, Morales and Barrera) at lower weight. Of course they were appealing because they were back and forth brawls so I am not taking that away. I recognize that.

A fighter of Manny's calibre should have NEVER stepped in the ring with a Brandon Rios or a lot of other guys he fought. Especially when there are tons of fights that could have been made.

Anyhow, seems like we're not getting anywhere so let's let it be.

Then who's "hit list" is impressive in this era?

These conversations are so f#cking ****** cuz its obvious you got some ****** bias with Manny for god knows what silly a$$ reason.

If Manny ain't sh^t like 3 guys are sh^t in this era is basically what you're saying. This mfer won titles in half the f#cking weight classes damn near!!!

LOL how the f#ck can you downplay that like it ain't sh^t? This guy beat legends & HOFers in the sport. Most cats don't even fight legends or HOFers ffs let alone beat some of them. But according to you it "not impressive".

        Come the f#ck on man.

Or A- trolling cuz I legit can't believe some you can call yourself boxing fans & not appreciate some of the guys you don't appreciate so you gotta be trolling with this dog sh^t opinion.

For future reference anyone who don't think Floyd, Manny, Shane, Oscar, RJJ, Felix, Bhop, Toney, Morales, Ricardo Lopez, Barrera or about a dozen other mfers from this last era didn't do anything "that impressive" please just watch another sport cuz you clearly don't appreciate boxers who can box at a high level without silly a$$ biases or huge f#cking blind spots.

Clearly you don't read what I've written. You just glance through it all and respond defensively.

Using the example of B Hop is the perfect way to look at Manny. B Hop cleaned out the 160Ib division then moved up to 175 where he pretty much beat almost everyone and won several titles. And to make it even more impressive, he did when he was past 40. That makes him a great boxer.

Your boy Manny had the tools for sure and he had a great career at 126 and 130 but when he moved up to 135 he fought David Diaz. That's it.

He then moved up in weight to 140 and 147. His record at 140 is pure garbage. He beat Hatton who had been KO'd by Floyd.
At 147 it was just cherry picking, weight draining or catch weights.
Why couldn't he clean out the division like B Hop or RJJ?
Why couldn't he fight a true WW?
Why did he continue to fight BUMS?
How can you ignore those facts?

As for those 8 titles you brag about, well let's take a look at all of them:

          1) WW: Miguel Cotto at a catch weight of 145. Was it really honest?
          2) Jr Middle Weight: Margarito at a catch weight of 150. Margarito was coming off a massive beating and KO at the hands of Mosley.
          3) Jr Featherweight: Ledwaba - Who?
          4) Jr Light Weight: Marquez is the one listed as his victim yet most people are 50/50 on who actually won this fight or any other fight they've had.
          5) Light Weight: David Diaz - Seriously? This is the only guy at 135 that Manny fought and he was just ordinary.
          6) I don't even need to go into the lower weight class because 90% of boxing experts won't know who they were.
          7) One of the belts Manny won was The Ring Magazine .. does that sound like a legit belt to you?

Do you not even grasp the concept that if you gotta bring up Bhop to dog Manny it's not THAT much of a diss?

If you were bringing up James Kirkland to show how not sh^t Manny is you might actually be on to something.

And all the rest of your "points" are just typical resume teardown bs you can do to ANY fighter if you wanna. I can "not sh^t" any great fighter off there resume. I used to be really good at it. Then I realized it's just a dog sh^t way of arguing my points. Maybe you'll realize one day.

And lastly lol at the "your boy" remark when I clearly said I was sh^tting on Manny for YEARS during the whole deal with Floyd. I'm from Grand Rapids. My early nutthugging of Floyd was built in cuz of where I grew up and I'm still overly supportive of Michigan fighters. But I've learned over the years to have a more rational and reasonable opinion about Floyd and Manny and other great fighters instead of fanboying or hating on them which appears to be the stage of the game you're at. I hope you get beyond that silly stance eventually. It makes boxing more fun when you are just digesting facts as best you can vs steering things the way you want them to be and to conform to your own limited outlook on who's great.
