Solid fighter, but the Marquez decision is among the worst of modern times. He won between 2-4 rounds at the most. Didn't throw a ton for long stretches, missed a ton but the crowd and commentators went nuts if he threw anything. Marquez landed basically all the clean punches, dictated the pace, controlled the rounds and though wasn't at his best won handily. Even the two bogus deductions don't even make it close enough to steal. Something was fishy with that fight. His corner was some Aussie guy just shouting "move, move, move" all fight. Almost like going to points they knew they'd get a decision.

Good fighter though and should have tried to make more of a name for himself outside of Indonesia.

Yeah that's another fishy fight to me also. Just the type of fight where you can't make a case for the decision that came out and all objective viewers agreed.

A great fighter who defended his title abroad more than any other champ I can think of.
